How to build a fence like a pro - Part 1
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- In this video I build a small fence at the front of the property.
I also go to my local merchants to collect all of the materials for both of the fences I'll be building in this series, which is always entertaining 😂

Johns the fire in to dig holes whilst the other one fks off to the ‘merchants’ aka the snack bar😂 aye John your welcome back anytime 🤣😆😂
@ we honestly underestimated how long it would have took in the merchants that day 😂 sorry John
Great video and great quality work. 😊

Nice idea with the wood packer mate, never thought of doing that for posts 👌
@@elmwood_carpentry everyday is a school day kemon shun 😆😎
Impressive video, Keel’s Joinery. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work. Your method for ensuring the posts are perfectly aligned was really insightful! How do you determine the ideal depth for posts based on different soil conditions?
@@KeyserTheRedBeard thanks very much my friend 😆 I’m glad you where able to take something away from the video, depth of the hole is always 2 feet with these smaller fence’s and post you can get away with being 1” or 2 short but we always aim for 2ft
Finally someone else using the dodger block method
@@LegionUK that’s a cool name for the block method 😆
Me and my dad have been doing fences decking and similar things on the side for around 14 years. Maybe 3/4 jobs a year whilst turning some down. We are thinking of going full time but not sure on taking the plunge as I have a 9 months old baby. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.
@@zombiehoggy3701 definitely a trick one with having a young family but if you want it bad enough you’ll be able to make it work I won’t lie going on your own is very difficult phoand mentally but if you put in the work it’s very rewarding and a much more free way of living being your own boss
@ yeah that’s kinda what I’m after mate. Thanks so much for the advice 👍
He was your pal until you left him diggin holes 😂
The merchants took way longer than planned, but of bad planning on my part should have ordered a delivery but I didn’t want to wait till next week as there is another storm coming 😂
He done a smashing job for us coming back tho we made sure we sorted him out 😆💰
@ Jesus another storm wonder what they will this one 🙄👍👍
