Nice work Charlie! 👍🤩
Thanks 👍🏼
Keep these videos coming and make them a little bit more tutorial for young people wanting to learn cut and pitch and i think you can do well in the youtube space! Good job😅
Noted cheers for the advice mate, appreciate it 👍🏼
Great job ! Be nice to see a video on how you do layboards
Next roof I get with lay board valleys I’ll do a video mate 100%, thanks for the comment!👍🏼
Hi guys great video as always.
Think about what you post with regard to heath and safety, a ladder spanning a roof with a scaffold board and a drop below might get you in trouble with dreaded safety police .
Yh mate I know what you’re saying but there’s no health and safety police on this job.
Wish there was so we had a birdcage but such is life . Just got to be careful and be safe
Mega work again boys
Cheers mate 🫡🤝🏼
Yeah another fine bit of work, cut roofs are my favourite, but gotta agree. in my opinion rafters should always be at 400 centres, sounds like penny pinching by the developer to me!
Yh mate same with me 400mm c/c no more but the developer is a good guy, but can have trusses at 600mm centres and building control are okay with it at 600mm so I can’t argue with that.
@@CML_Carpentry I'm surprised BC are ok with 600 centres on a cut roof usually they can't wait to find something to moan about on a job 😂
Nowadays could be 1200mm centres but if you have truss clips on hand cut rafters and hangers on them building control will be happy😂😂
600 centres is good enough! Thats the point of engineering ! Its a small garage roof 100 years ago it would of all been in 4by2 at 16 inch centres and would be still standing today! More wood doesn't all ways mean more better!
@ very good point, however old timber has a lot more density and strength compared to the fast grown c16,c24 timber we use today, you cut old timber with a hand saw and new timber you can feel the difference 👍🏼
great video also what work trousers do you use
Hi mate glad you enjoyed the video, these work trousers are from TikTok shop😂 I normally just wear joggers as don’t like tool belt on top of my trouser belt as legs go bit numb after a few hours!😂 but just cheap ones of TikTok
@@CML_Carpentry thanks for the reply mate
@ no worries mate
Nice work
Thanks mate 👊🏼
You boys on price work?
@JosephAJGearey yes mate this is on price.
We can see that very clearly ...
Is this all you do roofs do you advertise or is it word off mouth for you to find work nicework
