This is the greatest watch of all time in my opinion. This movement forced the giants of Switzerland to do some serious self-reflection, even Philippe Dufour has high praise for it. This is my dream watch and I hope to own it one day soon.
I never understood why people considered this better than the 1815 chronograph. The date function is annoying on a manual watch + this think is a BRICK in person. It's chunkier than a speedmaster as a dress watch.
@@golfinguru11 It's personal preference at the end of the day. The 1815 is pure class but the grande date on this watch is a complication that I personally love. I've had the pleasure of putting this watch on my wrist and while I agree that its weight is notable, I still think that it is comfortable overall. Its wrist presence is powerful yet delightful in my opinion but i have a larger wrist to be fair.

@@golfinguru11it is literally 12.8 mm thick, way more thinner than the speedmaster, if you think that it's a hockey puck, you are delusional, it's one of the thinnest chronograph watches in existence.

And dear Hafiz, you finally made it. However the most time spent on the Flyback inhouse movement which is also a surprising fact about Patek and AP. I was expecting rather a couple of minutes more of your poetry on the Lange. Remeber I asked you for this couple of years back. Thank you my friend for finally getting back with this.

Fantastic video as is the norm for you! Indeed A.Lange & Sohne is possibly the best of grail brands…however Patek Philippe gives them the greatest of high horological battles!

Always makes my day when I see that you’ve posted a new video, Hafiz. Thanks for all the great work over the years!! In the past, you’ve taken issue (rightly, in my opinion) with the ALS oversized date not showing a zero prior to single digit days because it throws off the balance. That is, a blank space next to ‘3’, for example, instead of ‘03’, ‘04’, etc. Is ‘[blank] 3’ still the case here? If so, what a missed opportunity to remedy a significant balance flaw on an otherwise piece of dial perfection that seems to pride itself on balance…at least 1/3 of the month.
