In this video, I will share 3 simple productivity tools that I have been using for my entire career so far. I found that not the fanciest or most complex tool or productivity app increases my personal productivity, but rather the opposite: that the simplest and easiest productivity tools provide the same amount of support and functionalities required for project management or personal organization! In addition, simpler productivity tools reduce a lot of noise that is oftentimes created with more complex ones.
As so often, it's key that you keep using the productivity tool of your choice on a continuous basis, i.e. not switching between tools, otherwise, there is a lot of effort lost in transition.

It is good to be using both options, digital as well as physical notes. I use both as physical notes come handy when you have a great idea or thought while doing something.
Totally agree, Sunil! It's probably a mixture that is ideal. All the best, Lea
Subscribed to you today, really got captured by your attention to detail video as this is one of my weakness. I want to succeed in my corporate role. I hope to learn a lot from you. I’m glad I have subscribed!
Glad it was helpful!
Couldn't agree more with you. You've got a new subscriber. Keep up with the great content 😉
Awesome, thank you!
So simple and practical. Thanks.
Hi Steven, thanks for the feedback! Cheers, Lea
I'm so glad I found you and your videos, Lea...you have the perfect personality and I can't wait to search through all you have available. The first video I watched on tracking changes in WORD was a true godsend.
Oh wow! Thank you so much for your kind words - much appreciated :) Hope you find my other videos similarly helpful. All the best, Lea
I'm user of Microsoft 365 for years. So, use everyday onenote, to do, calendar, Excel, books and pencil.
Phisical notes are important to take meeting notes, and a personal view of myself.
Ay the end of the day, Is how we used the 24 hours.
Thank you thank you thank you!
Agree, Rodrigo, everyone has their own personal style and preferences when it comes to note taking or productivity. At the end, however, we only have 24 hours that we should try to make the most out of. Best, Lea
Top video again Lea. I have chosen Notability a year ago for a French language course at first, but now I use it for so many things and I love it!
Thanks, Patrick! Haven't used Notability but I might take a look at it - thanks for sharing :)
Wow been trying to start my digital organization journey and this video was a good start. So many overwhelming videos out there! Thanks 😊
Hi Jamie! If you are interested in the topic of digital organization, I believe my channel is the place to be ;) Feel free to check out existing videos but also make sure to subscribe because there is a lot more to come (which I am also excited about). All the best, Lea
Your videos are informative and really easy to follow. You helped me fix an issue with my outlook templates (which was in a different video) - I realized that templates are saved in .oft, but outlook was defaulting to .msg, so it was making it difficult to update my templates!
Keep up the awesome work. I hope your channel grows.
Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad I could help you out and hope you find more tips in my other vidoes. All the best, Lea
Great video.Really helpful.Keep it up💕✨
Thank you so much for your feedback! All the best, Lea
Hey Lea, Your video is amazing, I was in a confusion spiral after watching so many tools and Videos, this gave me clarity, You are a saviour. Please make this kind of useful videos. #1 youtuber for me. 🤩🤩 best content
Thank you so much for your feedback! Glad I could help you to refocus on the essentials :)
this really helpful not to waste valuable time on tools. I use google calendar , google docs (for note taking) and a physical note book (always in front of me on the working desk). subscribed !
Thanks for sharing, Samson!
Clear, easy and straightforward. No need for a meta-tool for an orchestra of productivity tools. It is the Bavarian way of looking at things.
Couldn't agree more :)
good content, im having hard time to be organised and im here to learn!
Thanks, JJ! Appreciate your feedback and willigness to improve your organization sills. All the best in becoming better and better :) Lea
I am a digital user and I downloaded the two files you recommended, great videos these are my go-to tools as well. Very helpful.
Thanks, glad I could help out! All the best, Lea
New sub here. Loved the presentation on this topic. Clear simple and relevant. Thanks!
Thank you so much, Rita, for that feedback! Appreciate you liked the video (and hopefully many more). All the best, Lea
a very good channel with excellent practical advise , thank you
Thanks, Andrew, much appreciated! Best, Lea
Thanks for the great tips!
Rocketbook is a reusable notebook for automatically saving and or sharing hand written notes! Not terribly expensive.
Thanks for your feedback and the suggestion!
Hello there. I am a new sub and your video was very helpful for making my presentation in our grad school. Ever since I started working in the Hospitality Industry, Note-taking is a must do. Whenever there was a suggestion or things to do, just a notebook and a ball pen to take down notes and if you forgot what was the info, just open your notebook. Thanks Lea
Hi Mark, thank you for your feedback! Glad you like the video and could take something away for your presentation :) Best, Lea
I look a lot of productivity video's, yours are different. I like it a lot, thank you.
Thank you so much, Jesse!
Well represented,thanks.
Thanks, glad it was helpful! Best, Lea
Thanks!
Many thanks, Sanchita, for your support! Much appreciated :) All the best, Lea
Thank you Lea, I too get up now at 5a.m , thanks.
You are very welcome!
Hey Lea, amazing video!
What tool did you use for demonstrating taking notes?
Hi Nathan, I use a tool called "Notion" to take notes. But there are also other, similar tools out there that you might want to explore, such as OneNote, Evernote or Obsidian. Good luck trying, Lea
I still use a physical notepad. In fact, post its. But your tips are very helpful and I’ll try to start the habit of using a digital one.
Hi there, thanks for sharing. Well, if post it's work for you, that's great. So why change a running system? But sure, feel free to try a digital notebook as well and see what suits you best. Good luck!
I recently discovered Amplenote. It allows me to flow through my notes, tasks, and calendar. All in 1 app. I also use a paper daily planner. My app helps me with brain storming and my is what I carry throughout the day. It has all I need without all digital distractions! Also I made my own planner that has what I need with schedules and notes space.
Hi Michael, thanks for sharing. I do not yet know this app but will certainly look into it. Good to hear that you are also using a paper daily planner and try to make best use of the combination of digital vs. physical notes and planning :) Best, Lea
YES, YES, YES - (physical) WHITEBOARD is great. I even had two at the same time in my office (and then i gave it to my friend to help his productivity).
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing.
God bless you
Thanks
Iuse both physical and a digital one, I'm looking for a good Android one for when on the go without having to buy one, thank you.
Hi there, that's great to hear. As for digital notebooks, I really like Notion or Obsidian. Notion has a great and easy-to-use-app as well so you might want to try this out. Best, Lea
I am highly digital but also have clip board with a pen always at hand, thinking about a whiteboard.
Hi Arthur, I can highly recommend a whiteboard - so go for it :)
your channel is very helpful, I just stumbled upon it now...one of the most useful people I know. I just want to give you hugs & kisses...marry me lol... Jokes aside, I want to emphasize the significance of your channel in my life. It holds such importance to me that I've taken the unprecedented step of setting up notifications, I have suscribed to a lot of channels in my life but this is my first notification.
Hi Phillip - thank you so much for your kind words! Your feedback and support is much appreciated and I am glad you can take so much away from the content I am providing. All the best, Lea
I am using apple Notes and google Calendar. Not a big fan of Whiteboard even though at work I used Miro board.
Nice combination. For me it took some time to get used to Miro but by now, I really enjoy working with it - maybe you too :) Best, Lea
White board? Fountain pen and notebook? Standing up and stretching? ATA Girl!
Thanks for watching!
can you post links of these tools please
Hi there, I believe there is not much to link except for www.notion.so/de-de/product and evernote.com/ as the two note-taking tools I am talking about. I believe the other calendar tools should be known or you should have your preferred oned already ;) All the best, Lea
I use the whatsapp "by myself group" to take notes 😊
Hi Michelle, that's a really good one that I have never thought about! Thanks for sharing :)
you missed off a database, important for managing many items ie contacts, assets etc
Hi there, thanks for sharing! Indeed, that could be added to the list.
If you spend more time organizing your planner and productivity tools than they save, they are just an excuse to avoid work.
Couldn't agree more, Scott!
your demonstrations are too fast !
Hi Sonia, you may want to watch the video again or in 0.5 or 0.75 speed. You can change this in the video settings via the little gear icon. Best, Lea
