  • On this episode of SNOWTRAX...
Luke and AJ respond to all your questions about riding in Québec. Tune-in and get all their insights to some of the best regions to visit based on the type of riding and terrain preferences you may have along with fun and interesting peripheral actives you and your family can enjoy. If you’re not hooked on Québec by now, you certainly will be after you’ve ridden its trails this winter. Plan a trip this year and you’ll be visiting again every year - guaranteed!
Then in TEST RIDE, AJ shares his opinions on the 2024 Arctic Cat ZR 600 CATALYST with ATAC after having spent some time aboard this sled in this comprehensive evaluation.
The first episode of 2024 is in special commemoration of Mitch Watson (2002-2023) who was undoubtedly one of the worlds most die-hard motor heads and whose passion for snowmobiling overshadowed many of those senior to him. Rest in peace and Godspeed Mitch.

I have not wanted a Cat sled since the late 90's but this new catalyst looks awesome, I would go for the upgraded shocks though.

Everyone will have their opinion - Nevertheless, A.J and Luke, this was an ABSOLUTELY incredible episode. As a resident of the Outaouais, a native francophone and riding since I’ve been 6 years old, I truly appreciate your review of our province and it’s 33K km trail system - The trails and services are second to none. You took the time to review all of the regions and what they have to offer and you were tremendously accurate and spot on - The is something special to see wherever you decide to ride. Every year I meet riders from Ontario, New Brunswick, France and from all over the US and consistently I am amazed at their kindness and willingness to discover the joy of riding sleds. Un épisode tout à fait magnifique - Un gros merci!

One thing to ponder.. the experience you all get by being celebrities of the industry and having a promotional type UA-cam channel, is most likely not the same experience we would get as snowmobiling commoners. On a side note, my coworker's riding crew went to Quebec last season without him, and had the whole shooting match stolen.. truck, trailer and everything inside. Theft can happen anywhere and does, but it's still a real concern. Great stuff as always, i will ride up there someday.

I agree about theft, it's a shit and it can happen everywhere. As a Quebec City citizen, if i have to park my truck and trailer for more than a day, i always select a parking with fees ($10/day around, they are more safe). Unfortunaly those parking are not listed on the clubs website so you have to get a contact in the area to get this info.

Fantastic episode guys. The mixed riding footage with engine sounds is great. Having traveled to Quebec for work throughout the years not every region is as welcoming if you don't speak French but overall where there's a will there's a way.

Kinda annoyed you haven’t said anything about the Eastern townships (canton de l’est).. we have trails that rides the Canadian/americain border and it’s actually really nice in February usually.. we don’t get as much snowfall as the rest of Quebec but when the trails are open we can get some great riding and have awesome scenery here.. you can come in directly on your snowmobile threw the border near Coaticook and head to whichever region you want afterwards

My Passport Expired in 2020 when you Commies were requiring a Vaccine Passport.. I'm not Vaxxed.. I don't have Insurance.. and I don't have Mirrors.. The few miles I ride .. I guess I will have to stay in Michigan where I already have s Trail permit for the Season and a Registration. I never carried any proof of Ownership of the sled..

That's not accurate. We've been going to Quebec for 30 years and have had really positive experiences. I've travelled to the US, Europe and Scandinavia as well with mostly good experiences. Anything negative that has happened didn't ruin my trip nor did it sour my opinion of the place. Use your manners, respect local cultures and be friendly. Usually it is reciprocated wherever you travel.
