- I am teaching a guy on how to operate a Hustler Trimstar which he has never used before. He has a lot of experience on other walk behind mowers but no other mower has quite the same mechanics as this one. Let’s see how he likes it at first and then check back in a month to see how he likes it then…

Im an expert on a hustler, just never got paid enough to work for someone else so i picked up a different trade
Completely understood people whwre i stay charge 25 to 40 a yard lol i cant compete with that sometimes gotta know your worth
Trade in the 2 wheel stand for 1 wheel. Its a much smoother ride and allows the mower tech. to focus on the cut rather than the sensation that youre falling.

So I’m the youngest of three brothers. We moved into our house when I was a baby in 1983, and my dad mowed the yard for a few years, that was until my oldest brother was big enough to mow the yard. So he proceeded to mow the yard for a couple years until my middle brother was big enough to mow the yard, and sure enough a couple years later I was big enough to mow it. But damned if I didn’t have anyone to take over for me. I’ve been mowing that damn lawn for 30 years now. I haven’t even lived there for several years now but I still go back and mow it for my father.
Hustlers are nothing compared to a scag just so everyone knows! Scag is the Cadillac of mowers and stripes but why would you train somone on jungle wheels when they make stand on riders like the best of the best scag vride 2! Mowers with jungle wheels are for before they came up with a stand on mower.......I've trained many people in lawn care and this lawn dude is not that bright plus he charges extra for different designs lmao you maybe charge alittle extra for a double cut but the design that's cut is up to the now crews discretion! I'd find a different lawn care guy! My shit looked better than his!

I'd be curious to try one, but i loved learning on the ferris 48" ride behinds with the classic grip squeezers.
Cut quality wasnt the best, but good enough; in that they were a fantastic mower for handling, especially on tough hillsides and twisty/obstacle-filled lawns!
