Graeme swann bowling action is all class for an off spinner
Murli😂
@@hariom.18chucker
Let's be honest: England have never replaced him. And they won't challenge top test teams until they have an aggressive, match-winning spinner in their XI.
Parkinson is right there but for some reason, we just won’t put any trust in him and give him a chance
You can't just replace players like Swann, once in a generation bowler
How’s baz ball going ? Seems to be going well doesn’t it Iain ?

Adil rashid.
Great to see Swanny in action, brilliant off spinner. RIP Phil Hughes & Shayne Warne.
Swann was unplayable at times in this test match. Priors keeping was really good on a tough pitch
gets so much action on the ball with a flick of the wrist a lot like a leg spinner. very underrated bowler. high class.
Graeme Swann is one of the greatest English Spinner. I like his bowling action.
watching Swann reminds me just how deadly an off spinner can be, creating chaos for the batsmen. not knowing if the ball is going to turn or not, whether to play or not, attack or leave, just the epitomy of attacking spin bowling. pure mind games, what a pleasure he was to watch.
these days we have such defensive spin bowlers who just try and not get taken out of the attack, completely misses the point of having a spinner in the team. of course you need to be able to spin the ball like he did to pull it off, though
I really liked his no-fuss, beautiful off spin action. Wish he could play a bit longer.
Ooho....his bowling action is too charming...as he is.
Swanny’s action is a thing of art… his action is best suited to get maximum drift at optimal speed…
Well said...
In my childhood days i was like to copy swann's bowling action missing those days lot of love from india
Same here bro
Same here dear
Great stuff. Also shows two very rare incidents of Kevin Pietersen taking catches.
Happy birthday to the greatest spinner England ever produced! Should've played more than 60 tests for sure.
Na he isn't the greatest. Derek Underwood,Jim Laker these are the greatest
@@ruchirmundhra6716 Swann was better. Not even close.
His career started a little late and england player usually retire early to give time to families
@@CharlieXFBA Swann better than Laker? Crazy take
@@mikeywilson2329 Not crazy at all. Swann from a technical standpoint was absolutely a better spinner.
Happy Birthday Graeme Swann ❤️
For an off spinner hitting 2500 rpm is something incredible....
The balls he bowls that take wickets aren’t the best balls. It’s the balls before that worry the batsman and cause them to make a silly mistake. The best balls in this video are the ones against Khawaja and Patterson in the second innings. Such a good bowler
Yeah he planted lots of doubt for sure. What mindset can a batsman have after surviving those balls?
Yeah what a turn he got
His bowling reminds me of murri, very quick through the air but a lovely loop and the ball spits at the batsmen, lethal bowling this.
after Swann England is still searching for a spinner of Swann's level
What a drift he had. Even troubled 'the wall' at his peak
Swann and panesar were the best spinner England ever had
Underwood and Laker
And Giles
@@itsluka2744 averaging 40?

Jim Laker
The first wicket was peak village cricket
See the little nod given by Alistair Cook to Anderson at 4:41🤪may b next over strategy
Brilliant bowler Swann. Just Superb!
Every England fan misses Swann
Just imagining how good that bowling attack would have been against this current australian team, absolutely staggering,,, equally the old australian bowlers against this English team.... although I'm trying not to think of that one
Spot on - and I think not just his bowling but his positivity and winning mentality were great for the team.
Greatest spinner England has ever produced
Jim Laker
@@tanvirislam7478 correct bro
Laker and Underwood
Awesome and mesmerising spell. Swann at his absolute best....angled drift that gets into your head....do i play or do i lea....OUT
This 10 min video is more entertaining than full T20 match
Never replaced him!
I don't understand how the Phillip Hughes LBW was given as umpires call. That is a blight on the game. DRS should consider that smashing leg stump. It's absolutely knocking that stump out of the ground.
Swanny is always great to watch
This guy was my legend growing up.
God that makes me feel old, I was already an adult, establish as a cricket fan, when Swann came into the Test arena 😩
Loved his action
Swann is dangerous 🔥
England won that Ashes series 3-0. They could have won it by 4-0 if Aleem Dar didn't make a stupid decision of calling the play off early when England needed 21 runs off 24 balls with 5 wickets in hand
A disaster was waiting England in 2013-14 December Ashes
@@theextraordinarypower2265 yeah, don't know why the poms get thrashed so badly in Australia. I mean they are not Zimbabwe, they have world class players, still losing 5-0
@@Pratyush2124 their batting is below par in Australia that's the reason
@@theextraordinarypower2265 yeah correct, but I hope they don't get whitewashed again this Ashes 😢
@@Pratyush2124 I feel like we are gonna win again against the poms lol
Great legend off spinner greame swann ji great wicket khawaja ji ,.Steven Smith ji ,.chris rogers ji two inning takes wicket

🏆🎸🔥
I can't think how much turn he is getting though in those pitches
Can anyone tell me the BARMY ARMY song of Swann in the 2010/11 Ashes?
Plzz upload this whole match
#Legend of Drifting 🔥♥️
How many not out were given out aginst aus in that match ?
Classy off spinner 😍
Fine spinner
We didn't know then, but this was to be Philip Hughes last Test
for the first ball, isn't a full-toss above the waist a no ball?
he didn't really step forward either
Swann, warne, murili.. only spinners capable of causing chaos in England
All the Indian's are confused watching this 😂 I thought all England pitches were "GrEeN tOpS"

Jumped ship when the going got tough
5:20 Phil Hughes. Rip
Who is here after Williomson wicket by Zampa
So why is every one complaining of Ahmedabad when it was turning square at Lords? Maybe because the pommies lost?
This isn’t turning square though
1. This wasn't turning square
2. You saw a handful of deliveries in this video, this doesn't show the full picture of a pitch
3. The pitch in Ahmedabad was absoltuely terrible. Not even the Indian batsmen could deal with it (barring Rohit)
4. People shouldn't complain about pitches turning square because they provide probably the most interesting test matches
He was way much better than rank Turner bully Ashwin .
🐍
If there are so much turn in india they will complain now look at this pitch that to home of cricket the great kp and Micheal Vaughan ur comments on this 🙏
Though I consider that batsmen were at full fault in the 3rd Pink ball Test at Motera, but the pitch was also not upto it's standards. The 1st day had given us lot of possibilities on how this pitch will behave on Day 2 that too in balance. But 2nd day had destroyed all that balance. Unlike here, for 1 1/2 days the pitch had assisted pacers as well. Ryan Harris had picked up a 5-fer, Ian Bell had hit 106 with Root's 50 and Bairstow's 67. Things changed a bit when Aussies came out to bat as pitch gave a sharp turn but.... in balance to a limit. Even after the Oz collapse Joe Root scored a sublime 180* though spinners kept taking scalps. Nevertheless the infamous Motera 2021 is the past now. And the wicket on Lords is not always like it was in 2013... So leave it....
@@anishpadhye7006 yeah, England had a great spinner that time, so they could afford the luxury of preparing a track at Lord's that could help spinners from day 2
The balls that were turning big were on Day FOUR not day 1 like on your doctored 3rd test pitch
@@James-mh6fn true
@@James-mh6fn I accept that the pitch for the pink ball Test was not fully 'doctored' as you say while the Lord's pitch used for this Test was way better than our Motera pitch. Because it's THE LORD's!!! But even though the ball did turn more prodigiously on the end Day 4 when Pattinson had started batting with Ryan Harris during his amazingly stubborn knock of 35(91 balls), the ball was doing the movement for the spinners on day 2 when Graeme Swann picked those vital 5 scalps to bundle out Australia for 107. And as you say that the ball turned from Day 1 in the Motera Test, for some time I may consider that to be true. But if you delve inside day 1 even more deeper you may find that the ball turned till lunch when English innings collapsed on 112. But in the twilight period Anderson, Broad and Archer bowled just superbly (though they didn't get much wickets) and till the half session 3 it helped the seamers also a bit. But the degradation began on the last hour of Day 1 when Jack Leach came in. Chunks of soil came out of the pitch and day 2 was just it's aftermath. The pitch is to be blamed. But the technique of both the team's batsmen is also to be blamed. The batsmen didn't think the pink ball to turn so ragingly. It turned because of the help it got from the wicket. Axar's and Leach's armers, Ashwin's guile and Joe Root's surprising 5-fer were the key points to these collapses...

Yuck, Swann highlights. He was an average player that as usual England for whatever reason elevated as if he was some legend.
Ridiculous comment. Swann is up there with Derek Underwood, Jim Laker and Hedley Verity as England's all-time best spin bowlers.
