For some reason I have a feeling that Moonlight and Twilight are half wolf or something.. Like, their mother did something terrible. Betrayal to the wolves? The ‘king’ vowed to punish every jackal because of her and.... plot twists tend to be like that. Anyway this is JUST a theory. Probably a very terribly stated theory to be honest
For a first episode this is freaking splendid. I love the atmosphere, color palette and storyline. While it does have some if the clichés often used in the community, it somehow manages to execute it in a brand new way! I love Twilight, though I have a feeling he dieded :c RIP in peace, jackal brother. Can't wait for the next episode!
I think one of the greatest ideas was having the protagonist be a jackal and the villain be a wolf. I do not feel like I need to explain why the inverse of this tends to be true, given the reputation wolves and jackals.

oh.....my lord. dude i am honestly stunned, and the only other time i've been stunned by a series is one other time in my life. this was just jaw droppingly incredible. everything you did was amazing. the animation was incredibly smooth and you could see improvement through the whole thing! also, the colors you used were amazing as well. those soft blues made me wEAK AAAAA!! and the characters are amazing as well! i love how they aren't just stereotypes, but instead already have depth to them. by biggest regret is not watching this sooner, because it's just a jem. i can't wait to see the next episode, i loved this so much!

I really liked the mood that you set at the beginning. It was really tense and made me kinda curious. I also liked the backgrounds. I would really like you to improve on a couple of things though. Things like the sound quality of the voices and animation could be touched up on. The legs of some of the wolves seemed kinda awkward too. I would really like to see where this animation goes. It has tons of potential. Sorry this comment was super long I just wanted to give you a couple of pointers on how I think this series can improve on.

It could be part of the character, but twilight's voice acting is a bit too fast. It's sometimes hard to understand what he's telling. Oh and the flying animations of the birds are gorgeous. Keep up the series!

Wouldn't the fall kill her? Falling from that high of a height would make hitting the water feel like hitting concrete. Not to mention the instant blast of cold would hinder her motion, and she's already a very young pup who probably isn't that active and physically fit. She doesn't even struggle or try to swim when she falls in. I know it hasn't been revealed yet but she probably survives so I just want to point that out. But other than that, this is brilliant. The backgrounds are beautiful and the colour palette is really pleasing to look at. The animation is quite smooth and the story has potential. Great work.
The last part was probably just a accidental cliche, and what you said is kinda irrelevant. I know what you said makes sense, but dose talking Wolfs and jackals make sense? I don't think so. So i think what she did is awesome and she tried really hard, so you should cut her some slack about realism.
I didn't say the episode was shitty or anything, did you read my last sentence in my comment? I thought this was fantastic. I'm not dismissing Rose Woof's hours and hours of hard work with a simple observation. Just because you worked really hard on something doesn't mean it's exempt from constructive criticism. And when you think about it, wolves and jackals technically do 'talk', just not in the way humans do - howling, whimpering, barking, growling, snarling, etc.
Finally, something different from overrated wolves! Jackals! So glad to see something that has something other than wolves. PS, I love jackals and coyotes! ~ And I also adore the art in this! But the only this that isn't really realistic is that jackals live in Africa and Asia. Whereas wolves do not. I may be wrong, but please don't get mad.
I don't know how to break it to you, but jackels can't talk... Now I ams very the angry with yous! Nah... It's literally a cartoon brah, realism takes a back seat for plot. And don't be afraid of folks getting mad.
Wait I know why the wolves are enslaving the jackals like wolf nazis, It's because moonlight and twilight's mother before giving birth to them, she gave birth to Damien from the omen no wonder the wolves are rounding them up they are trying to make sure That's does not happen again.
The writing is good compared to other animated series dealing with wolves I've seen on UA-cam. The voice acting could use a bit of work though. The art and animations are good :3 Maybe for running animations you can contract and expand the body since wolves are flexible. They run more like horses right now since horse bodies don't contract as much and are more stiff. Overall I enjoyed this episode!
Flashbacks to me as a 7 year old child running around the McDonald’s playplace with my sister roleplaying these characters (I am not joking this actually happened. A bunch of people joined us. There were hunters too. They had buzz lightyear guns. I remember this way to vividly.)
This animation is AWSOME! It has a perfect story, and it’s very dramatic and breathtaking. The art is very good as well, and the music adds a little more emotion. I would love to see this series continue, and keep up the good work!

Nice job, This reminds me of my wolf pack called " The moon light pack". I'm 12 years old and yes I still play with wolf toys and I love animals. Wolves are my favorite.
Ok,15:14 is seriously freaking me out since I can't imagine a Wolf twisting it's head like an owl. Aside from that: The writing is good so far, the animation is ok (I know how much work animating is since I animate as a hobby), but the voice acting is hard to listen to. If I were to had a series I would've liked my characters to have not only fitting, but also good quality voices. I don't expect some Disney level audio quality, but at least a good microphone and clearly spoken lines should do it. Adjusting the volume of everything while editing would be the last step to make it even better. To make it short: There is a lot to improve in case if animation and audio, but it's ok nonetheless. I already mentioned that I sure know how much work animating and editing etc. is, so I have much respect to everyone that tries to animate his/her own story as a series or movie.

Wouldn't the fall kill her? Falling from that high of a height would make hitting the water feel like hitting concrete. Not to mention the instant blast of cold would hinder her motion, and she's already a very young pup who probably isn't that active and physically fit. She doesn't even struggle or try to swim when she falls in. I know it hasn't been revealed yet but she probably survives so I just want to point that out.
But other than that, this is brilliant. The backgrounds are beautiful and the colour palette is really pleasing to look at. The animation is quite smooth and the story has potential. Great work.

The last part was probably just a accidental cliche, and what you said is kinda irrelevant. I know what you said makes sense, but dose talking Wolfs and jackals make sense? I don't think so. So i think what she did is awesome and she tried really hard, so you should cut her some slack about realism.
I didn't say the episode was shitty or anything, did you read my last sentence in my comment? I thought this was fantastic. I'm not dismissing Rose Woof's hours and hours of hard work with a simple observation. Just because you worked really hard on something doesn't mean it's exempt from constructive criticism. And when you think about it, wolves and jackals technically do 'talk', just not in the way humans do - howling, whimpering, barking, growling, snarling, etc.
Tim Mcginnis, how do you know both are dead? If both are dead, then the series wouldn’t continue. Use common sense.

But the only this that isn't really realistic is that jackals live in Africa and Asia. Whereas wolves do not. I may be wrong, but please don't get mad.

The writing is good compared to other animated series dealing with wolves I've seen on UA-cam. The voice acting could use a bit of work though. The art and animations are good :3
Maybe for running animations you can contract and expand the body since wolves are flexible. They run more like horses right now since horse bodies don't contract as much and are more stiff. Overall I enjoyed this episode!

Flashbacks to me as a 7 year old child running around the McDonald’s playplace with my sister roleplaying these characters (I am not joking this actually happened. A bunch of people joined us. There were hunters too. They had buzz lightyear guns. I remember this way to vividly.)
This was ABSOLUTELY *amazing*!! I can just picture the movie of this being filmed one day. I could be your director. 😉

Ok,15:14 is seriously freaking me out since I can't imagine a Wolf twisting it's head like an owl.
Aside from that: The writing is good so far, the animation is ok (I know how much work animating is since I animate as a hobby), but the voice acting is hard to listen to. If I were to had a series I would've liked my characters to have not only fitting, but also good quality voices. I don't expect some Disney level audio quality, but at least a good microphone and clearly spoken lines should do it. Adjusting the volume of everything while editing would be the last step to make it even better.
To make it short: There is a lot to improve in case if animation and audio, but it's ok nonetheless.
I already mentioned that I sure know how much work animating and editing etc. is, so I have much respect to everyone that tries to animate his/her own story as a series or movie.
