That doll is sure fabulous, while finishing tidying up my house I drew Lugia with pearlescent white short wavy hair, silver hadagi hiding inside of ocean wave kimono, green blue for ribbon for the waist, Navy blue braid ribbon with two gold bells, & finally Silver shorts. At first I thought of long hair but it was too much, I love how my drawing of Lugia turned out.
That is such a cool fusion of fashion doll and BJD....the interchangable faces for different looks is genius! I hope you get more!
I loved watching this, I'm from Germany and it's still such a shame here that even though we're the originators of the modern day fashion doll, we don't properly acknowledge it as it's regarded a form of low brow entertainment. They're very snobby like that when it comes to any form of pop culture, no wonder Kim Petras emigrated to California to make pop music. 😅

This was an awesome concept, several people don't know the origins of barbie came from Bild Lili, so to see the recreation of this lady is paying homage to the lady doll that later became Barbie.
Remember everyone. If the makeup isn’t sharp enough to double as a weapon it is not Hextian enough.

Just a thought, you should blur the faces in your thumbnail. My favourite part of your videos is the process and seeing how it comes together and I always find the thumbnails spoil that.

I’m blown away by your work yet again, she’s so stunning! Bild Lili had an interesting story, too! she started as a comic character in the humor magazine Bild, then was spun off into a doll for adults. She was originally marketed as kind of a sexy gag gift, but young girls took notice of her sophisticated looks and detailed clothes, and she soon became more popular as a fashion doll, and became the inspiration for Barbie.
What a beautiful sculpt. This art doll is gorgeous. I love ball jointed dolls as well, and while this doll isn't one, it sure is lovely.

I would absolutely love to see Hextian's take on Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite. The Burial At Sea DLC look is right up Hex's ally. The pin up hair, red lips, and cinched waist.
