Dome Romantik is a roguelike mining game, where you go on a run to strip multiple planets of their minerals, while the native creatures furiously try to stop you. They come in waves, so you have to carefully consider your mining activities to return just in time to defend you dome. Greed can be deadly, information a viable tool for survival. Powerful upgrades will help you stay alive and be productive until you can move on to the next world.

The converter and the tree might be the best in this mode cause the cycle is so short so it can produce faster that's my theory. Love to see more!!
@@MinuHex I maybe wrong but the repellant give you longer cycle so it's kinda make all gadge and anything that require cycle take longer to do anything. that's is my guess.
@@Boofmilktea203 It doesn't add on to the cycle time so much as it adds a separate wave timer that you can initiate at will. So I heavily doubt that it does that.
Gotta say I 100% agree with this difficulty being a one and done. It seems absolutely miserable to play if you're not being absolutely optimal at all times.

I appreciate that you honored viewers' requests with this video, even though it was very stressful. You always put so much effort into all of your videos and playthroughs.
Hope you keep playing around with this one. You're the first person I've seen put a tree seed on more than one ore tile and I was shocked it produced 5 iron in 2 days there at the end. Would love to see a prestige run maybe and see how far you can get
I feel that this mode teaches you optimal habits & being diverse with your defense upgrades. To many people one trick abilities.
I have watched a couple other people play on this difficulty, and your sentiments about "I can't upgrade my drill/carrying capacity", "I have to shred this for cobalt", and "We have to do this or I die." are completely founded and often repeated.
That was amazing! I tried "you ask for it" on a small map and just barely beat it once, haven't even dared on a medium map. Thanks for the video and showing how bad i am. :)
I have never played this game for a chill time. I basically played it like Motherload, that old Java game, so maximum pressure all the time. It wasn't until recently I viewed somebody just taking their time and having a good time, on "brutal" mode no less.
Watching this was more stressful then I thought it would be. Props to you!
Im pretty sure if you have the blade at the right angle, the popcorn guys will just suicide and jump right into the blade...

Can you imagine the challenge though?! Huge map, you asked for it, and quick and feeble wave modification. Then to top it off, a 100% clear! Talk about a challenge!

I'm very glad this difficulty exists, but I'm also very glad it's not suggested to be "this is how the game should be" but is very clearly shown by the game to be "this is stupid why did you want this"

edit: Can't imagine what this difficulty would be like with the maze modifier and large map. Wouldn't wish that upon anyone.
The maze isn't even the worst modifier. Plus you can take all of the modifiers if you wanted to ;p
I'm sure someone has beaten it making it as hard as possible but I feel like it takes a special kinda person to want to put themselves through that haha. Seems plenty hard enough as it is.
ok but what if i told you that "you asked for it" on a huge map gives you bonus super points? i know, i know... i can be pretty convincing.

The tree works super well if you leave it on a big vein of gold and you need to dig a decent section above the tree for it to actually grow and work well
a tip: the gadget is always between the areas, so always look for at limit between then
I havent watched the video yet, but all I know is that you have to come into this with a strategy.

How intense! I love the relaxing / rewarding upgrades and having good character quality of life so I agree this is maybe for more hyper AI competition vs fun. Thank you for trying it! It could have unlocked extra stuff.

Oh wow that was insane, well done! But go back to enjoyable difficulty levels so that you can have some fun playing. Perhaps try the different orchard options that you have unlocked.
Nice job. With time efficiency being so critical, you could leave 3 or 4 rows between mining, as many iron deposits are 2 tall. Is it worth getting 75% cobalt for 150% iron? Of course, getting deeper faster would get longer carrying distances and harder soil faster too.
I think maybe the tree produces more per cycle based on how much ore it's on

this run is like the equivalent of atomicrops year 10 maybe even harder

I feel like this is the kind of difficulty I would like, but for most people yeah this would be a one and done. Not all like to be play super-strategy oriented all the time.
That was optimal tree placement.
It would have gave you 3 iron every cycle.
