Dome Romantik is a roguelike mining game, where you go on a run to strip multiple planets of their minerals, while the native creatures furiously try to stop you. They come in waves, so you have to carefully consider your mining activities to return just in time to defend you dome. Greed can be deadly, information a viable tool for survival. Powerful upgrades will help you stay alive and be productive until you can move on to the next world.

I think he's saving that for a really climactic ending to the series. I really wanna see it too, looking forward to the end! (because it's awesome and the finally is dope, not because I want it to be over)

Drillbert + Lift = almost fully automated mining IMO. Just haul stuff that he finds to the center shaft.

I feel the dual lasers would have been better with the slight auto-aim upgrade
I realized the same thing. It's maybe still not as good as the strong laser, but that upgrade helps out dual laser a lot.
The only reason I will never grab the dual laser upgrade is because the giant laser sounds super freaking cool.
I only plant the tree if I have cobalt node in the center line. Because if it not on the screen when I go up and down. I never go look at it. And colbat is the only think I care about. if there something else close I will leave it as extra

57:30 Just drop the Treat down the shaft, then give it the next round.
Also it lets the machine start producing the next treat sooner too.

I'm not sure if it's already concluded, but I am here for supporting this series. Damn awesome game, shame I was late to it. Absolutely on my list to get, probably next. I gotta optimize it myself
I'd love a huge map at some point. I'm really really curious on how big the map can be :)
My only issue with Drillbert is entirely in my head:
I’m terrible at remembering where I have and have not been, so, with certain Drillbert upgrades, I will completely forget where he’s dug that I haven’t checked yet.
The stress of not knowing about resources he may have uncovered makes me anxious and uncomfortable.
Other than that, I love Drillbert :(
When I mine in larger maps, I have a system to mark the tunnels for, “Have not finished digging to the wall,” “Have finished digging to the wall but resources still remain in this tunnel,” and, “Have finished digging to the wall and there are no resources that remain.”
It’s the only way I can keep track LOL

Drillbert4life! Two lasers+swivel head seems like it would be good
you know what would be a cool new weapon? a remote drone that fire's at things with close proximity and upgrade for speed and new weapons like carpet bombing or surface to air missiles,
also for new tech battle rohots that attack ground units, can upgrade hp dmg or the abbility to attack air units...
@@Bama_Boy well first of: what is or isn't op you can't tell me since it's just a concept and it could be absolute garbage;
Second you would've been right if it fast for the fact that sword dome launches from the dome and travels in air, the drone could work the same by having a dome be it's launch pad and the place where you could load weapons to it to counter specific enemies like bombs to drop on the ground(can be upgraded to be many carpet bombs or easy to use mines) and an electric current to air enemies( can be upgraded to have more dmg or the aoe abbility to disable their abilities)
Don't ever feel bad for taking drillbert. We love him as he is best mining boi!

Protip. Always, ALWAYS upgrade carry weight first. You can carry 5 at a time at full speed, and you can get drill and speed faster, as you make fewer, faster trips. Carry weight first is OP as hell.
I'm mainly a lurker, but huge fan since loop hero, and here is my comment to keep it up :)
You said your Drillbert was off by digging a three tile distance row. You can easily fix that by revealing every third tile down or up on one of the rows. that reveals all tiles of water or the red stuff that could hide there. Gold is unlikely to be in there.
It was really interesting to see how strong Drillbert can get and how the double lasers work. Personally, I prefer having Drillbert and Drilliam rather than ultra-strong Drillbert.
Achievement hunting? I'm sold.
Actually the Tree get more Powerful, the more Ore he reaches with his Roots. As seen Last Round he was able to make 2 Gold and had 4(?) Gold in its Roots

Just like you buy an upgrade to see your health and materials, there could be an upgrade that puts a line of lights directly under your dome, so you always know where the "center" is. That'd be worth a gold or two, eh?

@@jodysgamingchannel9480 If you make an upgrade that has a function similar to an artifact, you decrease the value of that artifact. Whether or not you commonly choose the lift artifact, the idea that it functions similarly is still a QOL of game design. All just my opinion and something I look for in games.

The aim line on the laser is actually good and idk if it adds speed but I was zipping from side to side earlier with that and a single laser speed upgrade
I think the biggest problem with the laser dome is that it's second to last upgrades are both very expensive and yet have down sides making it hard to justify buying and giving it an overall weaker late game for a somewhat stronger midgame. It doesn't help that it has no way of dealing with projectiles other than killing the enemies before they fire too much
We need the developer to let us save drillbert, make him know our demands!

@@Bama_Boy I'm pretty sure the game is still supported, and I guess it had an update not that long ago. Also, the animated shorts on Klei's channel are always cute and I'd recommend anyone who likes the game to watch it.

I know drillbert is lovely and adorable but of all upgrade i don't ever choice it. It not efficiency and optimize. When the game need drill speed and weapons upgrade more. It lose more time to change direction and move drillbert to the right spot. Sorry drillbert ❤️❤️❤️. Especially in you ask for it mode and maze mode.
