- We teamed up with the experienced LGS / CFS fabrication crew from Urban Steel Frames & Trusses to test the capability of the latest Scottsdale GEN II steel framing machine. These guys were fast and don't make mistakes. See how they went.

The results:
The guys at Urban Steel are fast and don't make mistakes. They fabricated an amazing 3,025 metres (9,925 feet) in a 7.5 hour shift. That's over 400 metres per hour (over 1,300 feet/hour). Impressive stuff. Yet even this crack team couldn't keep up with the GEN II machine from Scottsdale, which was cruising at about three quarters of the machine's top speed.
This must happened in a ideal condition where the worker don t need to pack the frame clean or unload coil. And the frame are all interior ir exterior wall so tge coil runs out fast . It will be amazing to see how to pack i.the mist efficient way
400 meters per hour... Is that material used, or actual length of walls fabricate?
Great video. Great crew.
1:33 You should buy a small overhead crane to load steel onto the machine. It's safer, faster, reduces loading cost by 66%, and only takes one employee to load the machine, compared to your 3 employees loading the machine.
Amazing Technology. The future construction technology.
that is so amazing when the average 1800 sqft house has around 117 meters of walls (exterior and interior) so that the walls for around 25 homes!
What is that green coating on your metal?
Change over from pop rivets to screws, watch how many meters they’ll pump out a day on the panel machine!!
we are in the same range even here in ADHI RWANDA we produce it fast and our assemblers are better and faster referring to the unit even though we have been erected in one month.
Yup, now showcase 18Ga🤣🤣
1:34 This video is misleading because it pretends 3 employees are needed to achieve their production numbers when in reality a minimum of 5 employees were needed. This is proven by the forklift driver and the skinny guy in the black jacket who loaded the steel coil onto the machine. They are hiding expenses on purpose. What else are they hiding?
You do less with 18Ga
@@FudggeYeah Negative.
