If you come into my orbit, then because I am a gentleman I will naturally take care of you to the best of my ability. But I do that because I am respectful and because I chose to of my free will. I have even taken care of people that I hate, just because I won't stoop to their level. But you can't come in expecting that either. Feeling entitled to a free ride, is not a good way of getting a free ride. And there is something nice about earning your way as well. I will definitely encourage that.

      Capitalism is crazy.
The belief that someone can "earn" more passive income in an hour then a productive worker earns in a month is not a secular belief.
There is a reason all the classical economists recognized that labor creates all value and that economic rents are parasitic, distinguishing between productive capital and forms of economic rent such as land rent, interest, monopoly pricing.
Because the economic/bourgeoisie revolution was against the rentier aristocrats.
This is why Adam Smith, David Ricardo, etc, advocated unearned income, like rents, either be taxed away or socialized under democratic political reform.
Long gone by are the days in which it was anticipated that the logic of industrial growth would be to tax away or nationalize rentier income while increasing the planning and regulatory role of governments.
Since the neoliberal coup of the 1980's anti-government strategists created an economic mythology to defend rentiers, rejecting classical theories of value, price, and rent, teaching that all income is earned, and that all forms of economic rent are not merely transfer payments but contribute to output.
Wages completely stopped rising along with productivity gains.
The global economy has been ever more finacializated and planned by the finacial centers like New York and London, and shadow banks like Vanguard and BlackRock, who have gained regulatory capture over governments and industry.
We have never had a more thirsty bloodsucking rentier class.

Bring up the concept of a prenup before or during discussions of marriage. Do not propose in traditional fashion. Tell her you want to marry her, tell her to call her attorney, have her sign the prenup in front of both of your attorney's, THEN present the ring. There must be ZERO signs of duress. Any signs of duress can and will be used against you in court. Also, be a good husband. Good husbands get divorced less.

@choob their husband's work? How old are you exactly? Because if I had to guess, you're still a teenager or younger because this is a simple concept to wrap your head around.
She doesn't have to contribute to her husband's work. She can have a whole career of her own, doing what she wants to do and finds fulfilling in her life. And when you're married and live in a home together, whether you have a joint bank account or not, any money that you earn is contributing to the married household.
Say it with me. MAR-RIED HOUSE-HOLD.
As time goes on and husband and wife continue working in their respective careers, their combined wealth grows. Any large possession or property bought while married and using their combined wealth will have both of their signatures on the title. House, cars, loans, other properties, etc. So when the day comes that they both decide to divorce and go their separate ways, everything from the money and all the various possessions and properties will be accounted for, itemized, and listed in discovery by both parties' lawyers. Any bank account that one of the spouses hid from the other WILL BE FOUND in this stage. And if something like that is found, this is where things turn ugly because then everything starts getting dug into, especially if there was a prenuptial agreement signed. Because hiding something as simple as a bank account is never actually that simple. And this is where lawyers could find a plethora of things, like say hubby had an affair and was using his secret bank account to help support this whole other family he had on the side. And if something like that is found, then based on the terms, the prenup is nothing more than a relic of happier days between the divorcing couple. Because in that example, and that's only one example that could lead to a prenup being voided, the wife would then be entitled to anything of the husband's that he brought into the marriage and didn't build with her.

How is this love unending, if they divorce and she wants half of the money? She may deserve it, she may not, I know plenty women who always nagged at their poor husband, and then they got wealthy despite that constant hostility in the house. And I know a fair share of women, who supported their husbands, but those kind of women almost all stayed with their men.

In WV if your married for over a certain amount of years you can cheat and still get way over half of the money.
You give up over half, pay the lawyer costs for both sides, and have to pay alimony that lasts for the rest of your life. Not working life. LIFE. If yo butt is 102 and yo wife is still alive she be getting the money. At least a thousand per month.
Pro tip for marriage: Fisk a pastor that will unofficially marry you; Live and love each other off of that promise and skip the legal crap.
Also, research the state you want to move to and what a divorce might do to you before moving there.💀
