- The plaintiff says the defendant is her daughter, who was a teen runaway and a victim of sex trafficking. She’s suing her child for emotional distress. The defendant says the plaintiff neglected her and she ended up in foster care, so she’s countersuing for emotional distress.
She’s a poor excuse of a mom. How dare you sue your child for the “stress” she caused for being the VICTIM of human trafficking while you were spiraling and not parenting. She’s more concerned with money than she is with her daughters well-being.
The nerve of this woman. Some people truly don’t deserve to be parents.

@@giveback unfortunately none of the cases are fake. Yes I know it’s tv and judge Mathis is a retired judge but he is now and arbiter and all cases that are on court tv are real. A contract is given to the plaintiff and defendant for their cases to appear on here and to be heard through production. Court tv is not “real” court but is considered mediation.
And the mother coming in there with them crocodile tears. Give me a break. 😒

Yes. I was watching a video of brooke valentine and she was interacting with her kids. Some peope commented on how they love how interested and happy she is to be around her kids. I was shocked. My commented to them was this interaction is normal. What kind of childhood did they have growing up? I was so offended by their comment, it is just like when people (some blk people) compliment other blk people for speaking with proper grammer.
So many see their kids as accessories. Someone to take pictures with and brag about on FB/Instagram. But don't want to do the raising, leave them with grandparents but love cliaming they love their kids. Or the one that have kids "so they have someone who will never leave or someone who will always be theirs" SMH most of these parents shouldn't even own a dog let alone have kids.

I think this episode was just a scam for 1 of them to get a check and then split it afterwards, no way the mom thought that was a valid reason to take her daughter to court. Glad the judge didn't award either one of them.

This is pretty sad and ridiculous. The fact that the children were in and out of foster care even when both parents were alive is a problem and the children suffer for it. It makes no sense for this lady to ask for anything but forgiveness and hope her daughter can get past all she has been through. Hopefully she gets a better adult life than her childhood and mayb a little therapy.
