I play it in Dragon Link by making the fusion Trish and banishing chaos valkyria from deck, then ravine send Samsara Dragon. It's really hard to search, but when it hits the board, it's usually kaiju or scoop

Wait the Wicked Avatar is actually a really cool tech choice. Lingering floodgate that last for 2 turns that murders Spell/Trap heavy decks is actually insane especially when you can expect to OTK your opponent easily with the Horuses.
The effect was never bad , it was that it was mainly unsearchable and needed 3 monsters to be normal summoned , then it got forgotten. Now we have the tools to actually use it better.

@@zoombye8806 No because of the wording. It only applies to a 1 or 2 cost tribute summon. Chances are they were just using it for Ladd and can search it off of the bridge

I cut out summon limit and put it in the side, put in soul drain which stops monster activations in the grave and banished, no fire king, no floow and so on :)

Idk, can be good if you lean more into LADD. Synergy between gold sarc and the LADD pop effect can be a legitimate way to maintain your board

I play a similar version, i think in this list miss secret village of the spellcaster... If you not have Ladd you can take secret village instead of mausoleum with the rainbow bridge package... I aldo run 2 foolish burial of god and 1 metalfoes fusion

I saw this deck and thought it was cool, I would change some cards (like Small World instead of trade in) but I would try to play this in MD (try because I bet the Horus archetype would be expensive and Ladd is an UR)

Its sad that Yu-Gi-Oh's "control" strategy is adding 10 floodgates to a deck this could definitely be handled better like to be able to activate a floodgate a certain condition should be met like tribute 2 monsters with 3000+ atk for your side of field or for the rest of the game you can't draw cards except the draw phase
