I agree Nick I have had several fantastic Christmas's in Pattaya. Unfortunately I will be spending it yet again in England, or as it should be called now, the shit hole republic of Starmer.
U can't beat the Sportsmans for a Sunday Roast ,399thb, the best in town. But I'm skipping the Xmas Dinner thing this year everywhere in Pattaya. It's over inflated in price when a Xmas Dinner is really just a Turkey Sunday roast.. I be going up to Naklua fish market for a whole lobster xmas dinner for a change with the Thais for under 1000thb cooked and served. 😊
Gday Nick, I was one of those people that went to Thailand to get away from Christmas, hated it. Like you I changed my mind after spending christmas there, its just not stressful like it is in Falang land. I went to the Hilton in Hua Hin for christmas lunch a few years back and it was brilliant. You are spoilt for choice in pattaya, cheers
Last christmas Hartland was fully booked ,so we booked hemingways, big mistake,, Everything was COLD The Brussels sprouts were hard . Our rost potatoes were hard inside Carrots not cooked , Even the grave was cold . Plus it was very quiet and no atmosphere.
Nick and Mark Thank You very much for these revues and recommendations . Helped me decide and it's the Royal Cliff or the Golden Ferret for me. I arrive in town Thursday the 21st November and even though my choice are two ends of the spectrum its that which is the beauty of this video you made.
@@NDTViThailand Nick I just went on to the Royal Cliff website took one look at what is on offer and immediately booked a spot. Thank You very much to you and Mark, Nick.
first ate at the Sportsman when it was in soi 6 back in 1993 xmas trip had breakfast every day bar one over the month stay, once had a large bottle of coke and a pie on the beach early 1960s in australia, followed with a nice gob off a very very fit pommy lass yum yum
Nick. Is there a max seating time for all of those places ? I take it robin hood is all you can eat like their Sunday Option and you dont have to be done within 2 hours?
@ To be honest speaking to David I think it’s already much already fully booked such is the reputation of the place now after the Sunday dinner success.
Xmas dinner in Thailand shudnt be much more expensive than a Sunday roast…as it’s not a Thai national holiday so no staff double pay etc…like in the UK where you’ll start paying fr £60 up on Xmas day…🎅🤔😉
Loving the comments from the cheap charlies. 😆 Can't afford something? Plenty of options provided in this video and there will be hundreds of other ones too.
Great two videos with Mark, Nick well put together all ways a difficult subject food as everyone’s taste is different and I think yours pay for what you get. And let’s be honest it’s Christmas Day time to treat yourself.
20 years ago I used to go to Thailand to escape Christmas. Best Christmas I ever had was sat on Pattaya beach eating KFC and drinking Thai whisky.😂
You can still do it now. I hated Christmas until I lived here.
@@NDTViThailandyes I agree I love Christmas and the new year Pattaya🙏🏼

Who is this guy Mark? He's definitely a natural when comes to presenting.
Yeah who’s the big lad? He has a big beaming smile you look like you can trust when it comes to food
Runs the famous Breakfast Club Pattaya FB group
Thanks Nick and great recommendations. I have just booked Patrick’s for Xmas day. See you on the 15th 🍻🍻
Great choice and super value.

I don't like Christmas back home but I love it here. I would never go back for Christmas.
Mark really knows his onions dude, you should get him on more regular
Pullman hotel is a great place to go for dinner, maybe not the best Xmas dinner but lots of sea food
Free flowing just 3050 baht, 2050 for just dinner
Loved the collaboration, Nick!

New year’s eve the big one nick cheese board with unlimited wine would attract people
Hilton is my choice , its a bit expensive but great value for money.
I’ve only had one in Thailand Too expensive and not all that good so don’t bother anymore
This guy needs to be on the channel more! Has he got his own channel?
I agree, mate, his very entertaining.
Robin hood is really good quality food.

My first year was 1993.
@@NDTViThailanddid you move here in 1993 pal? Or when did you move here?
As expensive as Robin Hood is, the food there is fantastic. Never had a bad meal there. Royal cliff looks great though. See you in 50 days nick.

I know there are two sittings at RHT. I presume there will be 3 hours between them but check as I don't know their times.
Great video mate 👍
Excellent recommendation
Good recommendations. But I am always surprised that everyone neglects to mention if there are vegitarian options on the menu.
There are in all of them.
@@NDTViThailandyeah probably but as I said everyone omits to say what those options are.
Great video, very helpful, thanks!
I always go to four star hotel with good free flow deal, needless to say a taxi home or tow a good Karaoke to belt out a few songs.
Gents, Have a look at Harry's at Soi Diana. My favourite Christmas Dinner
Some good choices there
Is the sportsman branch the one on soi bukharo?
No it's Soi 12 opposite the Avenue.
You seem to be mistaking it for The Sports Lounge?
It has been on Soi 13 for many years....
@@NDTViThailand Has it moved? Yesterday it was on Soi 13.....
I thought Nick was going to try 10 Christmas dinners and rate them all.
I hardly eat Sunday roasts.
Brilliant vlog! Thanks for this! Been debating this the last few weeks now. Awesome 🙌
Flame for me. 1495 baht for a quality feed.
Yes that was originally in Mark's choice but we didn't have any details.
@ To be honest speaking to David I think it’s already much already fully booked such is the reputation of the place now after the Sunday dinner success.
Sportsman, golden ferret,Queen vic ,3 good restaurants
4.5K for Christmas dinner?, In Thailand ? on your bike mate......😡😡
First sitting sold out.
@@NDTViThailand Been here 32 years 4500 is cheap as hell.

Do you offer a pub crawl Nick?

Mark is a good sidekick Nick👌
4500 ridiculous price. It's food ffs
Great video thought
Yeah it is pricey but almost sold out.
Robin hood is my go to place for a meal always great food
100 pound for a Christmas Dinner 😂😂 but the food is good there
You spelt Christmas wrong at the start
Loving the comments from the cheap charlies. 😆
Can't afford something? Plenty of options provided in this video and there will be hundreds of other ones too.
Also the Robin Hood Tavern is almost sold out. The most expensive Cafe Des Armi already sold out.
agreed, therefore they should just go somewhere more suited and stop crying about the price of somewhere that they aren't going to go to anyway
Chirstmas? Bit of a typing mistake in your title
Only just noticed it 🤭

The comments from the cheap charlies will increase once they have arrived at their 49 baht Leo bar with free WiFi
Can now be got for 39 baht if you know where to go....
Not very good business minded selling at cost price.
I would go for Robin Hood as I like their Sunday dinners. It’s pricey but like you said it’s a one off.
