@@JonasAnandaKristianssonThis comment made me think of Sufjan's excellent usage of dominant Ni too. He's really talented at making coherent theories and diving deep into ideas.
Anyone else think Sufjan's talking voice is significantly deeper than his singing voice? I heard him live, and whenever he talked between songs, there seemed to be a stark contrast... Am I the only one?
Never mistake Sufjan’s calm demeanour and his dreamy stares, as naïveté. It’s actually a deep and brilliant connection which most simply don’t have. That intuitive stare will make some people think that the person who possesses it, is dim and will cause some to speak down to the possessor of the stare, which, in turn, gives the brilliant intuitive even more informational insight into he; the one who foolishly and arrogantly, judges. When he stares, he’s receiving.

Why doesn't Sufjan have his own Facebook page or at least his own Instagram? I've Googled him and his stuff is scattered all over the Internet. His own website is one page about him. It would be nice to have a website on him and him only. His story(s), music, videos, interviews, etc... I didn't know he even existed until the release of the movie, Call Me By Your Name. And even then, I didn't even watch the movie yet and people on Facebook and Twitter were sharing his music. And I instantly became a fan literally thinking he was a new and upcoming artist. I felt like I had been living under a rock all these years because I never knew anything about him until that point. Now I'm hooked! The guy has an amazing style that is beyond captivating. I just want to study up on him. I love getting back stories, history, family, etc.. about someone I become a fan of. But, it just seems as though, Sufjan is very private and secretive about himself. Which I totally respect if that's his intentions. But, it would be nice to learn more about him. I've seemed to have missed a lot of his career as it is.
At about 5:30 when the interviewer attempts to quantify Sufjan's lyrics about a "mess" he let's out a "oooh" like "oh did you really do that? That thing where you think you know what an abstract lyric is about?" LOL
Interesting insight into the minds of these creative geniuses... but nico muhly seems suspiciously enthusiastic in this interview... i mean if he was gonna be on something he could have waited after the interview...
Please give Sufjan and Tiny Desk, he deserves it!

Me also!! He is like no one else- that haunting/mesmerizing, whispering, soaring voice! And he is easy on the eyes as well. ;0)
I love you, Sufjan.
I'm worried, Sufjan only has one hat here

you don't have to do much thinking to figure that one out. It's pretty obvious. But yes, his normal speaking voice is deeper than his singing
His singing is very whispery and the chest boom is taken out of the equation.
It's so fresh to see the "star" allow others to shine! Sufjan is a generous, angelic soul.
sufjan looks like someones wierd but cool dad
Sufjan is my favorite artist.
Nico is absolutely fascinating. Loved this whole interview.
