Ok for every mom "who knows everything" and says oh my baby cried I picked him/her up no way let cry etc.. etc..it's rubish, see here?? As soon as the baby is drowsy but NOT ASLEEP YET immediately put him/her in crib the last memory he/she must have is NOT of you holding it , NO, last memory should be in bed so baby learns to self sooth, if u don't do this the baby will cry nonstop so what you gonna do puck up 24/7??? Good luck with that, I don't know anyone who could do that not even stay at home moms
You have to pick him up to change him if he is crying. The crib is NOT the overnight docking station! If he gets swaddled too tight he might not be able to breathe. Suppose you were strapped into your mattress with the sheets so tightvthatvyou couldn't move and if you cried in the dark someone just stood and looked at you and didn't allow you to get up and move around? Now imagine those samecfellings and sensations as a new baby? Keep the light on low and don't swaddle and pick him up when he cries. He'll sleep through the nightclub two or three years. It's okay to co sleep when he has sleep issues. 😒👶🙂🌃
That may work for you, but not for everyone. Also, to safely swaddled a baby who has gas issues, helps with gas pains and is soothing. You can still check on them through the night. Some babies have trouble passing air or gas.
Do you work outside the home? I get up at 5am and work 12 HR days. I would not be able to do that for 1 year without sleeping at night. Let alone 2 or 3. I would be hallucinating. So would others. Sleep deprivation causes mental illness. Fact.
@@NC_SUGAR l understand sleep deprivation and exhaustion it causes a heart attack. The whole point is if you meet their needs early on they don't have anxiety and they are more settled. It's like knowing your needs will be met so you rest easy. Try it. Prepare bottles ahead of time, keep diapers and wipes at the crib so you can change the baby, burp and soothe after each feeding and relax yourself so you both can sleep. Bathe in a tub before bedtime so you are relaxed and if you can, soak with your little one(put him on your chest with a little warm water- don't immerse and don't drown or dunk the baby! If you feel like that seek help). Review their day at nighttime and talk about those moments that were fun or anxiety provoking and those that might have caused crying. They review their day when they go to sleep and it starts up all over again. That nighttime crying could be averted if they addressed the daytime issues. Oh you saw the dog, and it made you worry. I'm sorry! I am glad the dog didn't bother you. He was nice and the lady didn't let him hurt us. What was that fun time? When you saw Graddaddy? That was a nice time... Talk about the fun they had. Feel their bodies calm and settle and then snuggle and put them down to sleep making sure they are warm enough. 👍When you are less frazzled your 12 hour day won't be so stressful. Babies react to stress!

Thank you so much for this with all the parenting tips online sometimes I dont know which one is the right one. My daughter is 4 wks now and i dont swaddle her I think its just not comfortable at all. I sleep with her she wakes up three times a night to feed and a diaper change then she just goes back to sleep. shes been perfect 👌 😌 and I like my routine it might not be what everyone is doing onthe internet but it works for me and my newborn.

My baby likes lots of attention the moment I put him down for 2 minutes he starts crying , he always wants to be by me and be carried 24 7 which is something I can't do and this is really stressful

Hi all i also have a situatuon. Where by my little one is crying from maybe 23:00pm till early hours non stop. I have no clue what to do..she only gets sleep at like 2 in the am. She currently has a cot but u kept her by me being that it's winter. Please advise

they will be independent and refuse to cry because they will lose their trust on their parents. It's called trauma response. If u cannot be there for the baby then don't have a baby.
