This is a great card. I can think of many uses I will have for it. Thank you so much for showing these beautiful color combinations. I also loved the Tasty Truck pull out you shared but I was too slow to comment there. So clever. I like the pocket you made which gives a finished look. I'm thinking DSP could also be used there.
Brenda, I just discovered your channel and thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial. Pocket (and paper bag) cards ring my bell -- and yours is FABULOUS! I am a new subscriber.
Hello Brenda~ TFS this pretty pocket card... I just got through making one with your exact measurements , but after when it's completed it's a bit shy of an A2 card size. Is their a way of doing it in a A2 card size ?
Hi Shirl, The reason I made the card slightly smaller is so that the card base could be made out of a half sheet of card stock. If you want to make it so that the pocket measures 4-1/4" x 5-1/2, Start with a 9" x 6" piece of card stock. On the 9" side, score at 4-1/4" and 8-1/2". Put skinny segment towards top and score at the 1/2" mark. Then at the 5" mark, score just until you meet the second score line. I hope this helps.
Awesome I will give this a try and let you know how it turned out....Thank you so very much Brenda! Luckily I did it with copy paper just to see how it worked out with the A2 size, on the 5"mark it has to be @ 5 1/2" mark. Other than that it worked out perfectly......thanks again. And I did it with 12 x 12 cardstock got two pocket cards and the odd pieces will go as mats that I can use on my other cards.
What an absolutely wonderful video. Wow, you've got such a great way of taking those of us "visual learners" right into the project. Lol Thank you so much. This card is gorgeous...and I can see so many wonderful ideas for it. I'm so happy I'm subscribed to your channel. :-)

Yes, I think you can make it work with the stitched shapes framelits. I would use the 2nd largest and the smallest ovals. :)
Lovely card! And I really like the idea of the template you made. Don't suppose you have that on a downloadable PDF, do you?
Thank you, Sarah!! :) I don't have a PDF of the template, but there is a photo of it on my blog here: qbeesquest.blogspot.com/2017/01/special-reason-pocket-card.html
Thank you! that worked nicely!
great card. try not to use middle finger as a pointer finger. lol
OMG! Jacqueline, I promise that I wasn't pointing my middle finger at you. LOL! I will try to keep it in mind for the future. ;)
