Hi Carol-Anne - I'm in Heatherton, so not too far from Cape Breton! So glad you enjoyed this card - it's one of my personal all time favourites and I still have this card on display in my room. Take care! xoxo
Tina ... your card is Stunning!! I have been on the fence with this set because I have a few lighthouse stamps, but after watching your video .... gotta have it. Such a beautiful layout. Thank you for sharing all the details.
Hi Carol. I have a couple of lighthouse sets but this one is so different, with the layering and I really love it. If you get "High Tide" I don't think you'll be disappointed. Happy stamping!
Such a pretty sunset! I didn't want you to add the words at the end, because it would ruin your beautiful artwork! But everything together is really wonderful too. And you are so creative! Such a great tip on ripping some paper to create the cloud effect on the horizon, that really helped to bring it together. Thanks for the great video and have a wonderful day! 😊
I absolutely LOVE this card, it is gorgeous. As a matter of fact, I ordered the stamp set after watching it the first time. Yes I have watched it a few times. I can't wait to try this. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Hi Tracey - thanks for your comment. I just LOVE this stamp set - have you played with it yet? Have fun with this tutorial - I think you'll really enjoy it. HAPPY STAMPING!
Beautiful card and a great technique! I've done it many times myself, but new ideas and inspiration is always welcome in my craft room. Scenic cards are very popular here in Scotland at the moment, so thanks for sharing and keep on crafting! xx

Ellen, thank you so much for your comment and kind words - I really appreciate it. Have you ordered this stamp set yet? I'm sure you're going to really enjoy it. Happy stamping!
Hi Tina, I am loving this stamps set and what you have done with it. Stamping was my first love but was unfaithful and went to learn other things (this was probably even before Stamping up.) but now i'm back and cant believe how much it has changed and how much you can get. The other day I got my first Stamp Scrubber and my first stamp platform. I am loving these new things. Lots of Love and thank you for this tutorial xxx Wendy
Thank you for sharing. These cards are beautiful. You make it look so easy, I am going to try this, just hoping it comes out half as good as yours. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful talent and idea.
Je découvre cette technique avec le mask, c'est époustouflant , le résultat sublime d'une carte digne d'un tableau peint , bravo !!! merci pour le tuto que je conserve dans mes favoris ♫☼♫
I know you posted this early last year but Thank you! I don’t have any distress oxide inks, and. Most of the tutorials on-line to do sunset skies used them. I wanted to see how it could be done with anything else as I wanted a sunset sky for a project I’m planning. And I found you! Awesome result! Great video! Clear explanations and instructions. So! THANK YOU! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!! 🌹Rosie of Oz 🇦🇺
Hello Rosie!!! Thank you so much for your kind comments! I am so glad you enjoyed this video. I hope you give this technique a go - you'll love it and it really is easy. Let me know how you make out and have fun stamping!
This is a beautiful card! I love creating sunsets/sunrises with sponges. I have a tip for you that I've picked up from Michelle Zindorf. Ink your stamp up with versa mark then go directly to the colored stamp pad of your choice then stamp on your card stock add embossing powder and heat set. Since you stamped in the versa mark first that is what is on the top and you can emboss easily. this will not mess up your colored stamp pad. I've done this with many stamp pads.
Hi Pamela. Thanks so much for your comment! I loved making this card and to date, it's one of my favourites too! Thanks for watching and HAPPY STAMPING! ~ Tina
Oh WOW!, just love how you have made this gorgeous scene. I worry about trying to make this sort of scene as my colour matching etc. is not up to much, but with such a great tutorial I think that I stand a chance of accomplishing something I would be proud of. Thank you so very much.
Beautiful card. At first I thought it may have been from Peggy's Cove. I grew up in Lunenburg County, now live in Queens. This stamp set would be ideal for the South Shore (or any coastal community). Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for this beautiful card idea. I just made one for my aunt who happens to love lighthouses, and I know it will comfort her, Tina. And just so you know, making this card along with you comforted me as well. God bless you.
I watched the video about 4 times, and made this card. It turned out beautiful, only I had to use the stampamajig to align the lighthouse. I don't know how others do it! Beautiful!
Hi Michele - I am so happy to hear your card turned out great! I love the stampamajig and use it often. The lighthouse stamp that I used second is sometimes easier to use FIRST. It's just a matter of personal choice. You can never go wrong with the stamp-a-ma-jig though.
I have changed all of my wooden back SU stamps to acrylic with a new backing system. Worth the cost and work instead of the ole'Stamp-a-ma-jig from yrs ago. PM if you want info.

Thank you I've been trying to line up those lighthouse stamps. I'll watch again so maybe I can figure it out. Your sunsets are lovely. Love the birds also.
Thanks Sharon. Play around with the lighthouse stamps - some find it easier stamping the 'shadow' stamp first and the 'outline' stamp second and vice versa. It's a great set. Happy stamping!
