    Thanks for the video….as a proud owner of a Tenere I was curious on the degree of difficulty on this bike…Looks pretty simple unlike my 13 Goldwing. That was a frickin nightmare with all the plastic bodywork to remove…👍

      I don’t think it’s difficult to work on. I’m not a trained motorcycle mechanic, just a guy who likes fixing things and it’s not intimidating to me. The maintenance intervals are long anyway, 26,000 miles for a valve check

    Adiós man, nice job! Suscribed. Got a 18 xtze Raid Edition, around 34 K already, waiting for finishing the guarantee period in one more year and in the meantime, learning how to do the maintenance of this great bike, so thanks for your time and vids! I put my 900 lb Victory Vision of and on my HF lift but I use a Wheeldock chock. Rolls in and out easy peasy. And I am old. Gotta be careful. Wifey always stands by to watch and call the squad if I flop it. 😳😉

    Tell me about those foot pegs you have mounted, I think they are on the protective bars, where did you get those.?

    • @TomsTinkeringandAdventures
      @TomsTinkeringandAdventures  4 роки тому

      Anomie those are some cruiser style highway pegs, mounted to the crash bars with some homemade brackets. Not amazing, but nice to have a different place to set your feet on long trips.

      @@TomsTinkeringandAdventures I couldn't agree more I have been looking for some forward foot pegs for my Super Tenere and have not found any. Of course its something home manufactured. Can't say I have the ability to make brackets any suggestions.?

    • @TomsTinkeringandAdventures
      @TomsTinkeringandAdventures  4 роки тому

      Anomie well these are really simple, some U-bolts and a small piece of strap metal. A hacksaw and drill are the only tools needed.

    Thanks for bearing the 125° heat for the video, you must live in FL. as well. You did not show how to put that screw that you can't see back in. Taking it out should be easy but not seeing the hole it goes in well I am a little apprehensive.

    zasadniczo śmieszny pajac... nic nie pewiedział o tym, że filtr marki HIFLOFILTRO nie pasuje do obudowy !!! jakby się przyjrzał - a nie tylko założył i bezrefleksyjnie docisnął obudową, to by zobaczył :-/
    dla potomnych - użytkowników XT1200
    filtr powietrza HIFLO jest ZJEBANY, , tj niby pasujący ale niepasujący - wymiar zewnętrzny wypustki plastikowej wchodzącej w rowek obudowy filtra jest za mały, i niestety wszystko nie "siada" i nie jest szczelne...
    rozwiązaniem jest podcięcie np. dremelem (lub w inny sposób mechanicznie) krawędzi wewnętrznych filtra, bez frezu będzie to pracochłonne - niestety HIFLOFILRTRO dało dupy w tym przypadku :-/

      Sorry to hear you had issues with the HiFlo filters. This one seems to be operating just fine. Enjoy the ride!
