Thanks for the video….as a proud owner of a Tenere I was curious on the degree of difficulty on this bike…Looks pretty simple unlike my 13 Goldwing. That was a frickin nightmare with all the plastic bodywork to remove…👍
I don’t think it’s difficult to work on. I’m not a trained motorcycle mechanic, just a guy who likes fixing things and it’s not intimidating to me. The maintenance intervals are long anyway, 26,000 miles for a valve check
@@TomsTinkeringandAdventures i just did my first oil and final drive fluid change after watching your video. Thank you so much for taking your time out and making videos.
Adiós man, nice job! Suscribed. Got a 18 xtze Raid Edition, around 34 K already, waiting for finishing the guarantee period in one more year and in the meantime, learning how to do the maintenance of this great bike, so thanks for your time and vids! chromeplatedcowboy biggus dickus I have done it once, it’s not easy but it’s also not terribly difficult. Just take your time and double check everything. I have family in town now so not sure when I’m getting it done.
I put my 900 lb Victory Vision of and on my HF lift but I use a Wheeldock chock. Rolls in and out easy peasy. And I am old. Gotta be careful. Wifey always stands by to watch and call the squad if I flop it. 😳😉

Thanks for bearing the 125° heat for the video, you must live in FL. as well. You did not show how to put that screw that you can't see back in. Taking it out should be easy but not seeing the hole it goes in well I am a little apprehensive.
Anomie San Diego, we get some heat occasionally! Don’t be apprehensive, it’s not difficult. I have valve check coming up soon, that’s something people worry about but I have done it before. Take your time and it’s all good.
Completely different bikes for sure. I have no idea what the maintenance is like on the T7, but after I get 100k miles on this one it might be the replacement.
Tom's Tinkering and Adventures It looks you are right, I've just compared two hiflo filters for tenere and hornet 600 and price differnce is very slight. May be tenere filter just looks expensive :)

Anomie well these are really simple, some U-bolts and a small piece of strap metal. A hacksaw and drill are the only tools needed.
Awesome video man, thanks for putting it together.
I know it's a pain doin maintenance with a camera in hand;)
