JJBA is more like reflections from Araki's constantly changing life. The way he discovers new ideas and experiences new things. All of them are reflected, in one way or the other, in his work and his lifestyle. Its like a reminder from someone that you don't need to act how society expects you to, you can be bizarre and quirky if your intentions are good. Its bizarre because its not mended by the norms, but by your own growth.
I finally managed to get into Jojo this year, and finished watching Stone Ocean a few weeks ago. Reading SBR now. Thanks for the excellent video, it's really fun learning about this series and how unique Araki is.

Araki-Sensei is actually my favorite mangaka. He's the reason I'm still drawing to this day; he's the person that gets me into drawing again after I gave it up. I really love him, he's funny and just a really cool guy. If I will ever meet him, I could actually have a Sheer Heart Attack.
I actually don't see why JoJo has to do the localizations thing with the music names, because of another manga and anime, Bastard. Bastard is chock full of musical names, and they didn't get changed and to my knowledge no one has gotten sued.
