There is no 'suspension' on a riding mower. If yours is riding rough there are three items to check - #1, check the tire pressure. 10 psi rear, 15 psi front. Many times the tires are over-inflated during assembly so they aren't flat by the time they're in the store. #2, while seated have someone look to see if the seat springs are bottomed out or near bottomed. If they are you can try inserting some medium to high density foam in the springs, finding a couple heavier springs/adding a third spring or visiting Jenny Craig a few times. ;-) #3, slow down, too many peeps try mowing way too fast. It's hard on the grass, the tractor and your butt/back. It also makes your beer foam up - plenty of personal experience with that issue...
After suffering from a belt throwing, belt eating monster Cub Cadet LT1045 for the past several years, I couldn't look myself in the eye, if I ever bought another CUB CADET. I wish I had the hours of sleepless nights wondering what I could do to fix it or all the scraped knuckles I got putting belts on, modifying the pulleys, adding springs, retightening vibrating idler arms on this POS I'm still trying to fix. God Bless Kohler for replacing the motor with the cracked block after 5 years at no cost or you'd be reading about a garage fire. Unless they're giving them away, it'll be Deere or Husky in the future.
When you purchase something and it has that many advantages and you could only find one negative you purchased a really good machine I guess you could really if you wanted to change the seat and get something softer but that's not a deal-breaker that seems to be a really amazing machine
Great Video Clint, I don't own a riding mower and my yard is small enough I probably never will. I did just pick up the Kobalt 40v mower for $199 plus 10% veterans discount and I got the Kobalt 24v trimmer and blower combo kit for $129 on sale saved $250 total. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos Rodney
I just got my 2017 cub cadet xt1 series and it's been a beast no problem whatsoever and its only got 4hours on it I would recommend getting a cub cadet
Just started looking into at buying a new riding mower. First three mowers I looked at are: John Deer, Husqvarna, & Cub Cadet. Comparing Warranties, Specs, & Reviews out there. So far this Cubby is leading my research safari.
@@ToolReviewZone Ya she used her first stimulus check and got it. It's nice i used it a few times. I'm doing the maintenance on it when she brings it over...ill video tape it for my Channel.
Mine was nice while it lasted. Blew an engine at 9 hours of operation. That was more than a year ago. Service center is still waiting for an engine replacement.
Cub Cadet makes a lot of good products obviously the side by side there snow blowers are really nice and their lawn mowers they're a really good company💪👊🇺🇸
I looked at the CC with the electronic throttle module a year ago. I wondered what the price was to replace that module just out of curiosity. No listing anywhere but I think it might be expensive. Might be hard to find at all, given it's part of a no name Chinese engine. I ended up buying the USA made Kohler engine with the mechanical cable and choke. No regrets
To keep blades engaged in reverse. Start engine. Move key to R__F and push yellow triangle. You're ready to mow in reverse. If you kill engine, repeat process.
I have the same mower, love it. It needs an oil change but i am having a hard time finding the right oil filter for it. It's not in supply at tractor supply =/
Nice video! I have the 2018 model and love it. I have 2 1/2 yards to mow and no issues except I wish the XT1 came with armrests on the seat to hold me in when the tractor is leaning, or at least a seat belt. I got mine mainly to plow snow, my back doesn't like the walk behind snow thrower when it runs up on a snow bank. the 46" plow does a great job but if we get more than a 12" snow fall I'll revert to the walk behind thrower. Tire chains are a must!
I'm not sold on the IntelliPower. To me that is an electronic device that can malfunction and cause operating problems. I would imagine it's an expensive part to replace
I bought my club cadet riding lawnmower 3 of July 2019 after having a yard machine which I bought in 2005, at that time that was a good lawnmower to the end it was a good. When the time for a new the Club cadet that, I looked at was the one I picked.I looked at the Toro riding mowers, that is the one that I when with. What I like about my Club Cadet T2 is the turning racial, the speed, deck and cutting of the grass is all around top notch. I’m so pleased with club cadet I went out this winter and bought me a brand new club cadet snow thrower.
I hope to get one in a few months. I've been checking these mowers out and I really like the features. I'm really looking forward to getting the 42" one.
I’ve got the same one, really enjoying using it, my lawn is looking great and it’s seems like a very well built machine, the intellipower works great and the tight turning radius cuts down on my weed whacking
Interesting post from deno teat in his list of selections for a new riding mower. Every one of them is made by the same company, MTD. MTD produces Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Yard Machine, Toro, TroyBilt, and a couple other brand names sold to the international market.
