After our little break, we RETURN! What did YOU think of Meet the Robinsons?? 🤔 We actually have ANOTHER video LIVE RIGHT NOW over on our Patreon! We played Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake and it's even weirder than this game... 🥳🥵 www.patreon.com/mindpulp
Fun fact: this movie has a Robots vibe because William Joyce worked as writer and producer on both Meet the Robinsons and Robots. He also wrote the book A Day With Wilbur Robinson, which this movie was based on. You may also recognize other works of his like Rollie Pollie Ollie (books and tv series) and Rise of the Guardians (writer and producer, also author of the film’a source material)
@@dkaye6145 fun fact: you could be doing much more productive things with your life than being pointlessly negative in the face of someone trying to share information and someone’s art with others. Our time on earth is precious and you can’t get back the time it took you to write that comment unfortunately
Fun fact: this game is actually what the movie was supposed to be, same general plot but it was following Wilbur instead of his incredibly irritating father as a child.
Funny enough, my entire Middle School back then gave this movie more attention than when 21st century humor was invented with the whole "keep moving forward" thing that the movie taught us
I used to play this on my Gamecube quite a bit when I was a kid. I did manage to beat it but I do remember getting stuck at a few points along the way.
The movie is loosely based on the book title "A Day with Wilbur Robinson" by William Joyce (who also make Rolie Polie Olie, and Guardians of Childhood books series that got adapted into a movie and tv series) who became the art design for Robots movie. That's why some of the world, building, and Carl gave us a Robot Vibes. The original book didn't involve with time travel Wilbur is Lewis son and Bowler hat guy as a villain,it was Disney that changed the concept. The original book tell Lewis befriend with Wilbur and he (Wilbur) introduce his crazy family.
Gotta give them credit for using the original voice actors, and expanding on the movie universe in a pretty interesting way. Ratchet and Clank + Meet the Robinsons were the first video games I owned as a kid, loved them both 😁
Uncle Art was voiced by none other than Adam West, and yet you didn't think to take the opportunity to make some Batman or Catman references? I mean it was right there, served to you on a silver platter.
Being a lifelong fan of this movie I have to admire that all the characters in the movie are in the game and this game honestly resembles the movie (In terms of set and character design) quite well!
My sister finished this gave half a dozen times. It's...actually enjoyable with a good sense of humour? We had a ton of fun with it as kids...and as teens, admittedly XD
One time my mom came home from my local blockbuster and surprised me with this game and played it non stop on my PS2 and now because of this video I ordered it again can’t wait to re live the nostalgia
The same week I watch Meet the Robinsons for the first time in a decade Mind Pulp plays this game. Coincidence? Maybe. I chose to believe this was providence.
I played this game countless times back in the day. I really appreciate that the game has its own story different from the movie but still connected to the events of the movie giving the two essentially movie background characters their own story in the game.
For the people who want to know who did the soundtrack, it was actually the Jonas Brothers (ua-cam.com/video/WyfGqNow4lI/v-deo.html) but they only did one song, while the other songs, were from Jamie Cullum, Rob Thomas, Rufus Wainwright, ‘They Might Be Right’ & The All-American Rejects. Also got the person who did the original Score, was actually Danny Elfman.
I never played this game and watching you guys playing it make me laugh and entertain. 😂 I hope the game is somewhere to buy for old game consoles to try out
On the science fair popcorn topic, don't feel bad😭 my brother's science fair thing that he did when he was little was just 'which dish soap brand makes the most soap suds'😂😂
yes, the Jonas Brothers did a song for the movie it was called "Kids of the Future" a cover of another song "kids of america" but the rest of the soundtrack was made by Danny Elfman
Surprisingly pizza delivery is more dangerous then being a police officer by data of fatalities and injuries... In this house we respect the thin crusty line
I absolutely love this movie and this video game constantly as a kid and this video is so hilarious XD I tried to beat it, but it got so scratched up that it freezes before I go up to the Volcano boss battle-
I remembered getting this game for the Gamecube as a kid when me and my parents went to gamestop at a mall, they used to sell Gamecube games. I played it, Years later when I got the nintendo switch, I beat the game.
okay but...this was my favorite ps2 game as a child LMAO besides rachet and clank going commando, hit and run, the godfather, and the crash bandicoot racing ps2 game
meet the robinsons was such a banger I loved the found family trope so much and the villians. I had the disney magazine as a kid and i lived for the mtr comics. its so underrated. btw megamind is also under rated but I feel like megamind has been rising up in popularity. it might be my family issues talking but mtr makes me feel inspired and nostalgic and its so funny its like genuinely so good with the parallels between characters, and wholesome authentic connection and unique designs that near every family member is memorable. they had so much fun making it and it shows bc its so silly and thoughtfully designed with a severely under used aesthetic of a classic vision of what the future looks like. and they made sure it was hopeful and used the movie to make even a child realise butterfly effect in a wholesome way. like there is a good future ahead of u and u can be apart of it. its biggest flaw is the big cast but i think the comics really expanded and I wish they did more but also if they fuck it up like wir2 id keel over and perish with sublime rage. thank u for coming to my ted talk pls watch meet the robinsons. like not to be that bitch i neber played the game maybe it sucks but the movie is hard as hell and hit a lot for me personally
Oh man, I remember playing this on the Wii, since I got it as a gift as a kid and could never beat so many segments in it lol, especially the train segment since it had motion controls but I did enjoy it when I was younger, going for 100% was another story though lol, especially since it was one of those games where you couldn't go back to past areas and locked you into the final boss fight, even if you quit and restarted, the final fight would start up again and the only way to exit it was to start a new game lol
Wilbur can time travel to any time But he takes a picture with tut after tut was ded, he could’ve just went back in time more and got a pic with the alive tut
All I remember about this game was the fact that the sticks were swapped so you used the right stick to move and the left to use the camera It was bizarre
This game is a very well crafted masterpeice just as the movie is. That makes it very stupid, since no amount of love should go into a tie in game as they decided to put in. Yes, you should still make fun of it.
I was listening to Super Dave by Wilderness crew on spotify and i heard a riff thats almost the same as the one in the game and my brain was like "yo i know where thats from, YEAH thats from the meet the robinsons game." I was like are you sure? And it was like "YEAH bro FOR SURE"

But yes very true
Definitely remember watching or played this game in someone’s place.

I’m sorry but the fact that the pizza delivery guy is voiced by Adam west is truly amazing
I always thought he was voiced by Patrick Wartburton
knew i wasn’t tripping when i heard that lmao Dude got a unique ass voice that you can tell frm anywhere
his name is uncle art not pizza delivery guy 😭
I was just about to say that too, surprised they didn't know
And that they made zero mention of that cool fact, is a problem.
Fun fact: this game is actually what the movie was supposed to be, same general plot but it was following Wilbur instead of his incredibly irritating father as a child.
atcually was a prequel to the movie
This movie is so underrated it deserves attention

It's Crap
It’s mid
It's not underrated it was pretty big when it came out, it just got old it happens to movies...
As a kid i spent hours and hours playing this game and i was stuck on that one level and never actually figured out how to beat it and i just gave up💀
Same bro 😂😂
Was one of the few games as a kid I beat more than once. Don't remember much from it other than liking it.
I used to play this on my Gamecube quite a bit when I was a kid. I did manage to beat it but I do remember getting stuck at a few points along the way.

I loved this movie as a kid, the plot twist was just depressing
no idea it had a game but I´m not surprised either

I remember playing this game on a PS2 without a memory card. I had alot of fun restarting this game over and over.
That’s what happened for me and vice city. Heard Billie Jean a lot
Same here lmao, the whole start of the game is engraved into my brain
The Robinsons’ house literally looks like something out of Willy Wonka
It's also shaped like the letter R

Every time I play that PS2 game it takes me 20 minutes to teleport a different room
Never played the game, but it has been one of my favorite movies since the first time i watched it
Fun Fact: The singing voice of the frog was provided by Jamie Cullum
Because both movies were adaptations from books by William Joyce.
Jonas Brothers sang their version of Kids of America which featured the Robinsons.
10:58 The Jonas Brothers did a version of Kids in America called Kids of the Future for Meet the Robinsons!

Adam West as the Pizza delivery guy? Lmao nice

5:28 that's me, I'm the one you just called out.
that hamster ball minigame is my first ragequit ever in my gaming history 😭
that elon musk joke aged perfectly
Why did the developers have to disrespect Adam West like that? Man, that animation is brutal 😂.
Fun fact: In the Greek dub, Uncle Art has the same voice actor as Buzz Lightyear and Harv the telephone from Cars 1
I deeply want a sly cooper video
7:03 because William Joyce was responsible for both in a way.
