  • We build and maintain personas throughout our lives. We also do the same with our bodies, creating 'physical personas'. This can get unhealthy when we obsess and over identify with them. It's probably healthier to approach diet and exercise thinking what makes you unique.
    We lift weights to look good. And when we look good we will feel good right? We look externally to places like instagram to figure out what to look like.
    Just like we develop and maintain personas, we do the same with 'persona bodies'. This is normal! But just like it's unhealthy and a bit weird to get massive biceps, it's unhealthy to obsess or over-identify with our muscles. You are not your 6 pack...
