Check your gas port size first. Should be around .076" (I think, not 100%). 300 blackout was designed for a 10.5 barrel suppressed with a pistol length gas system. I would buy a 10.5 pistol length barrel with new gas tube if your hand rail will allow it. I just subscribed to you last night after I saw the "b+t" video. I am watching from Vermont. Note to viewers: I am a Conservative and supporter of the Constitution as written and I vote. Just to make it clear! Lol
Regarding lever action trigger finger, IMHO, people saying to take your finger out of the lever are overly anxious Safety Sally's. I look upon it as removing your finger from a trigger between each shot in a string. If you are still shooting, you're still shooting 😁. If you are pausing, then remove the finger.
Spikes. I trust you, but I doubt that silencer (yes, it's silencer) is hearing safe, especially on an sbr. If you're sure it's the gas port and not the position of the gas block, I would bore out the gas port. I've shot tens of thousands rounds out of my Marlin 39A and have never taken my finger out of the trigger guard.

Don’t have or want a lever action rifle. If the military doesn’t use it I don’t want it either. I like 300 BO, have a couple but don’t shoot them much. I’d recommend getting it running good then put it back in the back of the safe. You should only have guns that work well. I have a “spikes” T, BCG. Always works fine.

Nowadays people go with pistol lengths gas system for 300 BO even for 16" barrels. I've read that's the most reliable configuration.
