    Great review, very in depth... appreciate it my man..... I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about gamma lately, but adding another brand to my arsenal is what keeps me from trying them out, between Andis, Wahl, and Oster I’m pretty set, and now with the addition of the Babyliss fx trimmers, my budget is stretched out lol.... keep the videos coming my man

    I have both and it's not a tough choice because like you said (in most cases) you get what you pay for. The gammas hit but the gold fx hit and debulk like a champ. I will say one thing though the reason I say in most cases you get what you pay for is because I've yet to find a cordless trimmer that hits like old faithful. Corded Andis t outliner is still king trimmer in my book. I know going cordless is the new thing but give me a t outliner and fast feeds any day.

    • @axiosw0774

      Does your t outliner combs fit the fx?
      The only reason why I wanna buy gamma's is because fx has no combs for fading beards

    Great video. I’m looking for the best trimmer that is going to cut the closest or cleanest to the face. When I trim, I like to get my face as clean ass possible. The trimmers I have now is just a cheap one so it doesn’t get the face to bald as much as I want. What brand and style do you recommend?

    While both are relatively new to the market, Babyliss parent company Conair has been around for a minute. I rock with them both, but price point is a big issues. I’ll take the beeping any day for a 4 hour runtime. Babyliss is the flavor of the month and are out there heavy at shows, and at sending pre-released items to barbers with a decent following on social media platforms. We all want the shinny new toy when it hits the market and this is no different. ✌🏻

    Thanks for the video 🎥 bro.
    Personally.
    I got the hitters.
    Initially.
    I was going with the babyliss FX.
    But I heard about the noise issue.
    Due to wear on the blade mechanism that is driven by the motor.
    Where the spindle inserts to drive the blade.
    It wears quickly.
    For the price of the babyliss.
    Well......
    Until babyliss resolves this issue.
    I thought the gama is my best option at this point.
    But.
    When babyless fixes this issue.
    I'll be first in line to get some.

    Great video bro! I appreciate u sharing your perspective but also the straight facts 💯. I can't speak to the gammas buy I do have the gold FXs. Hands down the best hitters I've owned, they make crazy sharp lines, get super close to skin and just look and feel like quality. Things I don't like: battery life isn't terrible but its not great either, they take really long to charge and they do snag on the skin at times but not enough to irritate 🤷🏽. I did however figure out the noise issue! the blades are super sensitive when they're dry and/or have hair build up. Cool care is not a lubricant and will dry blades from their oil. If you clean and oil them after every cut they stay super quiet 😉

      If it's within your budget the Babyliss is at a much higher level than either of the other two. That doesn't mean the others are bad but it's a whole different level. That's my opinion at least and I wasn't a believer in the hype. The original gold trimmer with standard blade though not the silver or black 2.0

It appears FX trimmer is a little wider. I believe Gammas would be great for detail work. FX for overall line-ups. The part where you mentioned what other trimmers they resemble and or are similar too was good point. Puts things in better perspective.

    Hey what’s up man! I recently bought the absolute hitters they’re barely a week old and they always pull hair, even if the hair is really short like blade closed short. I’m not even debulking with them and they tug, I’m scared to use them on clientes because it feels uncomfortable knowing they might pull. Also today I cut my hair, I put my first guide with my blade closed and cut everything below that with my magic clippers. When I passed with my absolute hitters to get shaver length they cut my skin and it’s not because I zero gapped incorrectly. I know that because they tugged on hair even out the box!! What do you think is wrong with them? Should I return them?

    • @polskat6226
      @polskat6226 4 роки тому +1

      They do cut and scratch skin quite easily, I found them only really usable with the blade going down not up if that makes sense ( I don't find the blade to run smoothly on the skin when going up clearing out bulk) they do give really sharp line ups I'll give them that but like you said using them upwards they pull hair especially on the neck area during beards and also found them to have marked up people. I just didn't like the blade to be honest and in the end got rid of them.

    Great review bro i want a trimmer that i can use for real close trimming, balding or dry shave being eyeing these 2 what would you recommend even if its not from these preferably cordless and not bulky?

    • @iamcesarq
      @iamcesarq  4 роки тому +1

      thank you brother, tbh i would look into some cordless detailers! they get close to the skin and don't pull also parts and everything comes in cheaper as in replacement parts!

    Two hour run time is fine since you should have two or three of them if you're a pro, I just cut my own hair and have been for over ten years so that run time is more than enough.

    The wireless t outliners and babyliss timmer aren't in the same category. Not even close. I'd say babyliss trimmers are more relatable to wired Wahl detailer. And if the gamma+ are comparable to the styliner, I hope they have the power of a corded clipper, because those weren't very powerful (although they were also 1 of my favorite trimmers of all time also).

      Vernon Flowers try the braun series 3 they have a little trimmer built in to remove before shaving with the machine - will cause less ingrown hairs

    I was skeptical about the Gammas. We've all seen hyped trimmers that fell flat. I must say, the Gamma Trimmer is great! I didn't care for the Babyliss. Maybe what I had was a bad one but they never did well.
