I am not jewish, I had never studied Caballah, I do not speak German, I am Brazilian, I read his books, in a Portuguese translations and you know what? Those are the best books I ever read in my life! He is by far the best author I stumbled upon in my whole life!
I cannot agree more. He is one of the best scholars I have ever read. Every sentence has the proper reference, note, and explanation. When I did my PhD I always remember his books as a reference of the highest scholarship, even thought my research was in Computer Science. Through him I read Walter Benjamin at 18. Love him too.
