You all should check out the Slaughter Valley videos by Atomic Shrimp, they're using stock footage rather than AI but they're also humorous in a horrifying way.
The moving images are like dreams, where nothing is reliable in terms of continuity. The faces morph and bodies squeeze into impossible places. The proliferation of AI technology is an amazing and terrifying thing to watch grow.
Lmao glad you caught that. Thought that part was pretty funny. It wasn't planned either - I didn't prompt the kid going into the rocket but once I saw it I knew I had to use it 😂
My childhood was the 70s, so I wasnt around back then to know about this stuff. Several years ago I watched a video on the most dangerous toys of the 50s. With the potential to trigger cancer in some of those toys, this fictitious, sarcastic commercial really isnt a far cry concerning health hazards
To be fair, the number of legs changing could be some weird mutation from the plutonium (not real-world logic, but if this warns about superpowers it likely has an odd view of radiation).
I guess you can't give the kids another Giddyup Buttercup, Jangles the Moon Monkey, or Blast Radius board game every single Christmas. Nice to see some innovation.
Honestly, this looks like something which I legitimately would have wanted as an 8 year-old (presumably adults would have vetoed such an idea to avoid fires, explosions, and mutants).
The level AI is at the moment is perfect for an ad like this as you can put all the mistakes and nightmare weird stuff just down to genetic mutations caused by the plutonium
I'm actually quite amazed, because while this still deforms a lot, compared to the first fully ai generated videos it's miles better, much more continuous than before, making me believe than we will have normal looking videos in a not so distant future.
Fun fact, during the 50s, there was is kit made by the AC Gilbert company called the "Atomic Energy Lab" That actually contained a small vile of plutonium.

Everytime I watched a child fold up into null space and disappear, I knew that AI would never let us down!

I had a dream about the dimensional void in the lawn. I was watching myself from inside the null space, then I fell in again.
