I need you to know, I lost my dad recently and as an OG zelda person, I'm replaying all major games to deal. Thank you so much for being an awesome guide!!
I love this dude , I just searched for these kind of video to help me pass a hard level but this guy just make it so fun to listen to love his commentary
oh my God, that block on the 3rd floor kept me awake at night. I couldn't get it to push back and I thought there was a key in there and I was just worrying but then I watched this and now I know it's supposed to do that thank goodness
I used to watch these vids to find out what to do but his enthusiastic personality and his comments and things had me watching the whole video 😀😀 Subbed
if you play the master quest version of ocarina of time in 3DS, the room with the platforms moving will be changed into hookshot targets and the water temple is x10 difficult and also mirrored in the map (no moving platforms... there's a hidden switch in the MQ version of that room. *Behind the platform*
The Water Temple could have been more fun if they let you and Ruto work together. Like in Majora's Mask you switch from Link to Kafei. Only you do most of the underwater parts with Ruto and using Link to play the Royal Family's song to increase and decrease the water level.
You know, the Water Temple was the only one that I had to use a guide on. All the other temples, I was able to figure out...though it did take me a little while.
My main complaint with this temple was always the Iron Boots, since that was fixed it's really not just that bad. Certainly not my favorite, but definitely not as bad.
You are awesome! Thank you. I haven't played this game for more than 6 years because I was stuck at the water temple and this video walk through was the only thing I found helpful.
The N64 version did have the switch for the gate guarding the first Gold Skulltula behind the gate. You just had to charge the spin attack and release it near the gate to hit it.
2018 and still playing! use to play this all the time back in the day, now I bought myself the Wii VC and downloaded both zelda games onto the system! which is awesome! brings back memories, the nostalgia!!! still remember everything but the water temple always gave me hard time as a kid lol great videos man!
im just playing this 7 years later plus i got a pov Me:playing breath of the wild Me again:*looks at zoras domain* *intense water temple vibes* hope you like the pov!
Forest is the best. I actually like this the least. It all looks the same and the music isn't that interesting. But that's just me. Why do you like it?
Top 9 of all the temples in this game!! 9. Jabu Jabu's belly 8. Inside the Deku Tree 7. Ganon's Castle 6. Dodongo's Cavern 5. Fire temple 4. Shadow Temple 3. Spirit Temple 2. Water Temple 1. Forest Temple
ZeldaMaster Yes referencing your comment around 5:30 the switch on the N64 version is behind the bars (and hard to see at that), i’m embarrassed to admit the amount of time it took me to realize there was a switch back there and then it was like how the bleep do I get to it. But you can clip through and get it with your Biggorons Sword or use the magic wave off of a sword spin (either sword). BTW I 💕 your videos on these games so much. Your one of those rare people who I enjoy commentary from through the whole game. Your so honest and down to earth, and You have a very special talent for involving the viewer and making them feel like you are talking directly to them as you play. And that is a gift, my friend many commentators just don’t have that talent, thank you and keep making videos. Especially during times like these, with this pandemic and all the separation in the world, we still need that human connection to each other, and those like you help bring that to us though we must be separated from our friends and family and under a lot of stress, videos like yours give us a virtual friend in a small way and make us not so lonely and depressed. So you tubers out there ( those who make good, quality content that is...) who do things like this, Thank You all!!! And you do make a difference in this world probably more than you will ever know. 🌈
The thing that really sucks is that key under the center room. In the old version you weren't alerted to the hole in the bottom. I remember getting really far and then having to go back and find that thing.
Either I'm doing something wrong or my game is glitching but when I play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the triforce to lower the water for the first time, nothing activates and the water don't go down? What should I do???
'the water Temple is confusing and difficult' yeah. It's supposed to be. It's like saying you don't like a bad guy in a movie cause they're not a good person. Mission accomplished. Truth is... The water Temple is the best Temple in the game.
Everyone say it's a hard temple, but I did it twice (Normal + Master quest) and never had a problem. Thus, I hate water level in general but I really enjoyed this one !
This is a great temple, I ended up appreciating it, but I hated it as a kid because you actually had to put your mind into it and there was a lot of backtracking. And fighting underwater SUCKED!
I noticed that the 3DS OOT version doesn't have the "underwater ambience or background noise". You know, when u hear bubbles and underwater sfx. Its completly silent underwater. Its hard to tell when there is music playing, but if u go dive in a body of water at night with the iron boots on in 3DS OOT, there will be no music playing and then you'll see there is no underwater SFX. Luckily, Nintendo fixed that in 3DS Majoras Mask.
I would love to play this game over as an adult, I couldnt beat this when I was a kid, then only beat the water level in cooking school... I have to play this over and beat the whole thing.
Doctor: You don't drink enough water.

Man ... I'm playing the n64 version on the Gamecube right now since I've played it as a kid. This temple is so damn confusing!! Cheers for the video!
Doing it now.
I always get stuck on it 🥲
I need you to know, I lost my dad recently and as an OG zelda person, I'm replaying all major games to deal. Thank you so much for being an awesome guide!!
My condolences
That moment when you screw up in the dungeon and can’t move any further 😍😍😍

Yep that’s why I’m using a walkthrough this time. Happened to me twice as a kid!

The room with dragon heads
Zelda master:This room is easy

if you play the master quest version of ocarina of time in 3DS, the room with the platforms moving will be changed into hookshot targets and the water temple is x10 difficult and also mirrored in the map (no moving platforms... there's a hidden switch in the MQ version of that room. *Behind the platform*
WAR 5OLDIER With the exception of one room, MQ Water Temple is easier.
Who else here has the n64 version of The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time
Meh

You are awesome! Thank you. I haven't played this game for more than 6 years because I was stuck at the water temple and this video walk through was the only thing I found helpful.
The switch for the N64 at 5:40 is behind the gate.
That was very cash money of you
After beating the water temple on my first play through without a guide, i can successfully say that i really like the water temple.
Who else keeps taking lots of damage from the clams accidently.
Me, thank god I’m playing nso so I have save states
Hey man, I've been really sick with my stomach but I always watch your Zelda videos and I love them, keep it up !!
Its been 8 years, Hope you doing great in life
Yes, that's true the switch is behind the wall instead of behind the pillar. Took me ages to figure that out! Lols
Adult Ruto looks like Macau's wife in majora's mask
Lulu? Yes. Lulu is based on Ruto.
how do we know mikau was married to her?
Yeah lulu was the termina version of ruto you can tell because they look the same
I AM MAD I CANT GET ONE KEYY
Hey Keith, it's been 7 years, how is it going?
Everyone's favorite dungeon- The Water Temple. ^^
I think Turtle Rock in Link's Awakening is the worst dungeon than Water Temple. Yep I'm weird, that's for sure.
water temple *s u c k*
_exactly_
People only dislike this temple because its hard but the level design was ahead of its time
I also think that if people looked at the damn map! They would have an easier time with this temple
The N64 version did have the switch for the gate guarding the first Gold Skulltula behind the gate. You just had to charge the spin attack and release it near the gate to hit it.
thanks man!
Thank youuuuuuuuuuu
Just because OOT's water temple is difficult doesn't make it bad, you just have to know what you are doing.
I just get stuck at the end
That’s the problem
How are you supposed to know what you are doing if it gives you no hint
it's boring more than anything
It's bad
Ruto looks hot for a fish
Did you just assume her species
Screaming Zebra RAPE RAPE RAPE!!!!
Luke Skywalker whoa that's a bit to far don't you think...😓

I don’t know about anyone else but I absolutely love the extra comments he gives they’re my fave he’s so funny! 🤣
The only bad thing about this video is that its better than doing the dungeon... :P
The change they made with the Iron Boots really makes this temple look more tolerable. You're doing great so far with this temple ZeldaMaster!
Zeldamaster: it’s not that hard the temple for beginners: the hardest boss
Edit temple for beginners:
I was stuck on this temple for 2 years thinking I was stuck for good, thankfully watching this helped me thanks
One of the keese dropped a heart that healed 4. Never seen that before. Minus the claw in Link’s Awakening, the one that fully heals.

Hot Take: This is the best Temple in the game. 2nd Place goes to Forest Temple.
Forest is the best. I actually like this the least. It all looks the same and the music isn't that interesting. But that's just me. Why do you like it?
yes you did have to hit the button through the wall and i think you have to have the biggoron's sword in order to hit the button so
you can do the spin attack too 😊
links face at 1:19 to 1:43 made me lol

For the switch on the n64 version... do a spin move and it activates the switch inside the gate 5:00
Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind!
Yeah, you gotta be sharp eyed to notice the cracked wall right as you're following Ruto. Everyone misses that key.
Every time I get stuck I watch these vids. Thanks!
"Try to make it look as easy as possible." Famous last words before the Let's Play Curse strikes, Luke.
I'm playing Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time right now and I'm following your guide so I want to thank you for posting those videos
I'm playing the n64 now you do have to clip your sword in the cage
Yes
I figured out most of this dungeon on my own so I skipped forward a bit and only heard the end of your sentence that made me crack up
This was a very complicated temple at first took me a while to find the keys.
ZeldaMaster Yes referencing your comment around 5:30 the switch on the N64 version is behind the bars (and hard to see at that), i’m embarrassed to admit the amount of time it took me to realize there was a switch back there and then it was like how the bleep do I get to it. The only reason I got through the Water Temple was that hot princess Ruto...Salmon for dinner? (If you know what I mean...)
Lol my god man

I think Ruto is in a unique and interesting way, quite beautiful.
Switch is in fact behind that wall and you have to clip though it with your sword! You couldn't be more right Zelda master!
3:38 *casually shows how to open the door to the small key that made me stuck for HOURS*
The running animation in the 3DS looks slower than the N64 version.
Just roll
Thank you so much ZeldaMaster. This video was very helpful in bearing the Water Temple.
The thing that really sucks is that key under the center room. In the old version you weren't alerted to the hole in the bottom. I remember getting really far and then having to go back and find that thing.
U said Sheik was a girl but Ruto literally said “that young man named Sheik”
He said that because Shiek is Zelda in disguise.
Its zelda but ruto dont knwo
Sheik is Zelda
I had no problem with any of it as a kid, just the hole right behind the chest. Couldn't find it for years until I think a friend told me.
Great job on this whole walkthrough, dude.
I LOVE YOUR VIDS , BECAUSE OF YOU I DID NOT DIE IN THE FIRE TEMPLE ONCE.
This temple is utterly miserable as it gets- thank god for the walkthough.
Not bad, been years since I've played this needed help on this part, have this on 64, gamecube, 3ds, one of the best games ever
Either I'm doing something wrong or my game is glitching but when I play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the triforce to lower the water for the first time, nothing activates and the water don't go down? What should I do???

Lol same thing happened to me that’s why I came here. I wasn’t close enough 😂
Wait am I the only one who liked this temple?
how can I lower the water level I missed a key
I’ve been playing a bit of Mario, and I just tried to ground pound broken ground. Link isn’t Mario! What am I doing!?
Zelda master: I'm not marryin a Zora 😆

That's not zelda
The water temple makes me go into a severe seizure.
Dude this is still popping up on my lost i love it
Bad tectite xD. Zelda Master , the type of guy to never get killed on LoZ and to know the name of all the enemies
man, this way harder than the first two temples
Yeah actually in twilight princess you could use your sword underwater 9:56
Good thing this temple isn't in Majora's Mask. You would be likely to kill Termina while taking it on. That moon is creepy.
Definitely trippy not to see you pause every ten seconds to put the boots on😅
'the water Temple is confusing and difficult' yeah. It's supposed to be. It's like saying you don't like a bad guy in a movie cause they're not a good person. Mission accomplished. Truth is... The water Temple is the best Temple in the game.

I'm playing on a gamecube and you do have to hit it with your sword through the gate. The sword is pretty big.
This is a great temple, I ended up appreciating it, but I hated it as a kid because you actually had to put your mind into it and there was a lot of backtracking. And fighting underwater SUCKED!

I give this temple a 7.8/10
Too much water

im replaying this game omg its been so long!!!!! i remember watching this video 6 years ago 😂
Every time I kill a temple boss I always have low hp
I’m doing this on N64 and honestly this helped a lot the water temple is so confusing
Especially a temple so infamous for getting lost in.
