Germs are killed in a certain temperature. I am surprised here to see how many people are offended by mop with towels in same wash. Its completely fine to wash it all together if you wash it over 40degrees celsius. I have a washer dryer since 10 years, various models over the years. The only annoying thing is to have to sort out stuff that cant go into dryer because of material etc.
It’s a psychological ick. No basis in reality.
You need to leave the washer slightly open to prevent mildew.
You should also leave the detergent drawer ajar as well as it will have water in it.

As a former NYer who hated laundromats I totally agree. I am most grateful for a washer and dryer in my own home now. 😊
The print looks great (and that wallpaper in the dining room is so awesome). Also, I think at least 455 of us cheered when you said you were doing the finishing room.
Of course you get overwhelmed. There is só much choice..só much design. When I was 26 years old, I bought a house. A portion of the mortgage included some minor renovation. It closed during Christmas. And the work had to begin by February. I was overwhelmed..decisions about flooring, cabnetry , wallpaper...where to even begin. A coworker suggested using a decorator. Best decision I ever made. I was able to do my work and with minimal effort Live in the most beautiful environment I had ever known. As my life changed I have moved more than several times. The same designer was employed for 5 of those homes. They were always beautiful and always felt like home. Shopping is fun. A person can shop for a couch, a chair, a lamp,a bibleot or a person can shop for a professional who can put it all together in a timely, cost-effective manner. The choice of course is yours. Life goals - two sets of washers and dryers! Although, I must say, i have to do a separate hot hot wash for my mop heads and bathmats etc, couldn't handle it with my kitchen gear personally. 🫣 Maybe I'm a germophobe 🫣

How cute are you with the washer dryer. I suggest a cabinet to put all the goodies in it ! My daughter goes to Romania for work. They have the combos ! Or a drying rack in the corner. Living in Az or vegas. It dries really fast hung. Make sure you keep it open to keep it from molding when you use it. Dry 45 secs ? 😂😂😂. How bout Butters room ? Or your office ? My daughter has a malti poo. Her name is LILA BEAN. ! The bean ❤
About combo washer/ dryer - very common for all Europeans - usually there is not enough space here to install two separate machines. So they are on the market since 1953 😊
Right. But not common here in the US. We lived in Europe for 3 years and I was glad the home we rented had two separate machines.

Hi Michele, I love your content! I’ve been watching you for a long time! As far as the silicone rim of your washer dryer combo… I highly recommend wiping it out with a micro fiber towel or even just a paper towel each time you use it and leave the door open to air it out. I know so many people that have issues with a smell after about a year and I air out both my drum and detergent holder every time I use my washer.
I just moved from California to Texas... not my first cross-country move...and it will never cease to amaze me the things we throw away when we move... just today I am searching for a lipstick a table a pot and a comb..maybe they're still in boxes lol
You should put the painting or print in butters room where the new water and dryer in one is located
I love the walnut nail colour! It's so you, and it really goes with a lot of your outfits :) I did also really like the nude colour you had before that too though. I love nude colours on other people, but like you I get bored quickly when I opt for them on my nails...lol!

I wouldn’t put the mop in with towels and napkins. I would put the mop with what the rags the cleaning people use. I have the same mop and I let it air dry. No disrespect, just a suggestion.

As someone who somehow has three giant Kitchenaid refrigerators, lol, I can relate to getting additional appliances. No room, though, for another washer/dryer -- yours makes total sense to me. Front loader machines always leave moisture around the front gasket. It can become a moldy, musty problem. You definitely will need to wipe that down and also pull back the gasket (if it’s rubber) to ensure no moisture remains in between the folds. IMHO, I’d never get another front loader again but I’m probably not in the majority, opinion-wise.
I did not realize the creation of a washer/dryer combo was created that long ago as I was researching. It was created by Bendix in 1953. After many years of production, there has def been a significant amount of change from what you just showed. 😆 The machine looks so nice! Washing machine noise has become white noise to me but, it is appreciated it's much much softer. Wow impressed. Thanks for sharing!

That combo is great! they are usually tiny tiny ! I always forget to move the wash to the dryer this would be great as an additional unit.
Sadly I hate front loading washers because in my experience they always smell but the added dryer may limit this. My washer is in a closet and to leave it open to prevent mildew I have to then leave the closet door open. I can’t wait until we move and I can pick a new one.

The concept of washer and dryer combo in one is very common in Europe due to the need to reduce space. Usually installed in the kitchen as well! Love it for you tho! Major Dickenson is awesome! Peets is wonderful coffee. The nude was beautiful, but, a color close to your natural pink, in a light sheer, I love mine.

I have a GE washer as well and really like it but realized after about a year the drawer was very moldy because I used the smart dispense. I do not do that anymore and pull it out regularly to clean. 😳
How do you put the drying towels in your mew machine. I mean when you dry how do put the bounce towels that help with wrinkle release.

In saving Energy and being environmental friendly it is far more better to simply dry your laundry on your terrace Outside as you live in a very dry area (Vegas). Also, to prevent mildew and odour, you must run wash cycles using powder detergent every month at least. Please leave the door Open in between washes for airing as there is always water at the bottom of the machine…I really do not understand why 2 people need two washing machines plus 2 dryer….😢
When you put the other frames around Ozzy you can set them up like a mosaic.
I totally agree with you. We have a dryer that “senses” when the items are dry (even tho it says it will take xx minutes). I always have to add additional time to make sure they are dry!

Yes it’s overwhelming! I remodeled our house . It was a project. Then I had to buy furniture. Too many choices. I finally just started making decisions. No endless searching . Even if I say so myself.. it’s beautiful. As Nike says..Just do it .Good luck ❤❤

I have a washer/dryer unit (Bosch) in our condo and need to wipe out the dryer every time I dry the clothes. Otherwise, the condensation will collect and lead to mildew ruining the rubber seal. My daughter learned it the hard way.
There is no way my OCD would allow me to wash kitchen towels with mop heads! 😵💫 Have you considered working with a local designer to make designer easier for you?
What was once old is new again!! I grew up in the 60's and we had a combo washer and dryer then. Great idea I feel for small apts. or small laundry room...
Michelle I had to wipe down our front loader however it was only the washer.
I always left the door open a titch to air out.
Some start to smell musty.
After 5yrs the soap scum build up was too much.
I was so tired of having to clean my washers drum.
I ended up with a top loader.
I love doing our wash so no biggie but wow it’s all dry!

You are looking great Michele. Your skin looks bright and you look really good. I also love the new LV jumper on you and I think those colors are good for you. I wipe my front loader out after each use and I leave the door open a bit, for air circulation. The worst washing machine I ever had was a Fisher and Paykel. I don’t know if they’re sold in the US, they’re a kiwi brand. I hated it so much I wouldn’t even give it away. I tossed it and bought a Miele and never looked back. I haven’t had the slightest issue with the Miele, and it doesn’t beep at me every 2 seconds!

I am British, washer dryers combo have been around for approximately 40 years in Great Britain. They are smaller, but it's a normal thing. The trouble is when the washer breaks, so does the dryer, so it is a bit of a bummer, Michelle. I hope yours lasts a long time so you can get your moneys worth!🤷♀️😊❤️
Is an electric washer and dryer? They’re very popular in Asia (Taiwan, Japan, etc) because they save on space and because older buildings might not have the gas hookups that separate washer dryers need
