What are the symptoms of a L4/L5 Fusion if bone growth or fusion does not show definitive on a CT Scan or the surgeon is not sure if it fused?

My surgeon thinks he needs to go back in and refuse L4/L5, it's been over a year and 1/2, I keep saying whenever I do anything other than just sit around in a recliner or bed, my back hurts really bad. I mean washing the car, cleaning the dog, simple stuff, All I can really do is walk. Anytime my back moves example during sex, it hurts really bad. I have an appointment to see him on the 30th and will probably have it done. Would you say entering from the front or back is best? Last time he went from the back, but one surgeon I spoke with said front was better? What are your thoughts on ALIF vs PLIF?
@@KBradAdams front is the best. i stopped doing it all from the back 12 plus years ago as front has by far the best superior results. that's how i did my dad's own fusion and my great aunt as well all from the front and then back

I had spinal fusion on 4 levels and a decompression 20 months ago unfortunately it was not a success I now am in hospital writing this because i have my leg amputated yesterday' because the nerves dont work on my leg and was pooling it has been a hard road but i keep paying, prayers to everybody suffering

What is the surgery Dr Holman has recommended for this patient? I have Failed Back Surgery Syndrome after 4 spine surgeries, and am currently scheduled for T4 to pelvis spinal fixation surgery on Feb 3rd, 2022 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Very scared about what lies ahead…
We are very sorry to hear about your ordeal. The surgery was supposed to be revision T10-Pelvis operation but never happened due to patients on going medical issues.

@@TheSpinePro Dr Melamed, Im serving from a failed Si fusion w/ Rialto, my Dr did a revision by adding 1 screw, hoping it would fuse into the other screws. Well the screw he added with taking away my leg pain, but my Si pain is still bad and i cant sit long at all. Can you help me?

Please help me! L4-5 fusion and hardware removal. 2005. L5-S1 fusion, removal 2013. Pain has me in unrelenting pain for 2 years now. L4-5 pinched again, pain down both legs. On pain pump now. No relief!
