For a while I have been like Tommy here about protests after seeing so many fail, but tbh it’s just about the organization of them.
A good protest needs a goal that can be achieved by said protest, something that is tangible, preferably in a day or two.
i feel the same, my entire life there was death, war and protests that never change anything, everyday i see and hear people talk about all the problems, but none of them ever get solved, they only get pushed to the side by other problems
About the moon as a launching base for Mars, I believe they use both the earth's and the moon's gravitational pull to act as a slingshot to boost the journey of the rocket to Mars. That's why they can't just go to Mars whenever, but have to wait for the right opportunity when everything aligns, for the shortest and fastest trip.
Yes, but before going so far away from Earth we ought to learn how space actually affects humans for the long term. Sure, we have research on astronauts from the ISS, but let's be serious. Mars and Luna are astronomically different cans of worms (see what I did there 😅). Plus, if we want to actually build sustainable space ships we need a permanent Lunar base. The economic boom that will happen from Lunar colonies that mine resources without killing Earth will be MASSIVE! If everything goes well the next 50 years will snowball us so hard into an actual space age.
