Hello , if you search some instrument not too expensive you can check the banjolele , ukulele , tryingh to build an diy guitar kit ( why not 😅 ) , tam-tam , maybe it will be helpful , I know that you don't even care so ..... Bye 🖐️
The Cuica was commonly used in Brazilian rock music in the 00s listen to the song divida by ultramen this is a great example of 00s alternative rock with a unique Brazilian touch
Loved the content. Few people know about cuicas! The 'Light' version of this cuica is squeakier than regulars. Also, I noticed you exercised little pressure on the drumhead; to get a better range of notes and tones, slightly adjusting the pressure against the drumhead is necessary.
This instrument is also used in the game Baldi's basics when you enter the school. That's the **OOH AHH OOH AHH** that you're hearing in the game, some say it sounds like a dog but for me its just sounds like **OOH AHH OOH AHH**
your playing was really bad but as a brazilian I'm happy you're playing the cuica on your channel :))))) you can actually mimic many animals and make many different sounds with it!
Muito interessante te ver tentando tocar um instrumento brasileiro, pegou o ritmo aí em uma parte e quase fez um funk e é isso aí hahahhahhaha vamos que vamos 🇧🇷 thanks you!
He linked vids of people playing cuica on the top comment, and he said that it sounds really good when it is played by someone who knows what he's doing. The dude was fair, it CAN sound awful for someone who is playing for the first time. I'm Brazilian as well by the way.
Yes, your ENTIRE CULTURE IS RUINED because somebody isn't an instant master at an instrument they've never played before 🙄 . Imagine having fun making interesting musical discoveries which in turn actually make other people more aware of other people's cultures ( with links to people who keep said cultures alive through their music). Definitely something to get all indignant about.....

You could probably use this instrument in a space rock tune
the song is also used in thank you by dido, the original sample of stan by eminem
“Cuica” is an brazilian instrument, we use in Samba and its very cool see people of other countries trying our creations. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Yay you're back! Feels great to watch a new Lootd video after being stressed for the whole day.
This instrument is played in the beginning of 'Could You Be Loved' by Bob Marley. Great vid
Aha! This makes those "window cleaning"-ish sounds in Super Mario's beach themes!! The more you know. Virtuosic playing as usual, Charles!
Same as Goron City in Ocarina of Time
sounds like a monkey to me haha
It also appears in Cuphead's Floral Fury. I initially thought it was just a stock monkey sound effect or something, apparently it's an instrument.
Me normally watching this: *Talks about the drum*
Parents walk in: 2:24
My bad
@@LOOTd No prob dude lol. Love the video. Welcome back!
😈
Bro did the dirty with a drum💀😳

it actually sounds really nice in brazilian samba music
This was simply amazing!!!
Always nice to see good things from my country going around
I feel it's been a long time since your last vid
Yeah got in a rut of not making videos, hopefully out of it now but we'll see I guess!
@@LOOTd :(
interesting stuff with the effects at the end haha
So that's what this funky window washer sound on Miles' "On the Corner" is! Another mystery solved
Ayy, it’s that Mario drum thing.
Until Baldi stole the spotlight.
@@N1664datsnvtz hehe
For me it will for ever be the Mario sound.
We are slowly turning him into a musician
That delay effect makes it so eerie.
I don’t think I have Laughed this much in a long time 🤣 thanks!
thought it was some beast. Didn't know a drum could make these sounds. Rather drag my chair across the floor lmao
The delay effects was awesome if not a little spooky 😆
This looks interesting. I bought few instruments after watching your videos. ❤️
Always reminds me of "Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard".
It would’ve been nice if you would’ve explained the purpose of the wet rag.
This instrument is used in Deltarune OST - Checker Dance
I always pull my straw up and down,I guess I had a thing for friction drums at a young age 🤣😎
"nothing has changed" good
yay new vid
Is this the same instrument that makes a similar noise but deeper in "banana boat" ?
Pedals very sci-fi. Cool
2:59 I'm not the only one who thinks it sounds like a monkey!! There's still hope for me! :0

What we need for a Horror movie !
How did you do the thing at 3:30
I used the power of music / Garage Band
that sounds like the Baretta theme
Sounds like someone cleaning a window, while pulling a straw in and out of a fast food soda
7:50 sounds like something from the first Slipknot CD.
your playing was really bad but as a brazilian I'm happy you're playing the cuica on your channel :))))) you can actually mimic many animals and make many different sounds with it!
