Cookie Butter is the most amazing thing ever!! We discovered it just this year.. "Lotus Biscoff" brand is the best and the brand has their own cookies. You can get at Walmart or order it from Walmart. Walmart offers a 2 pack for 7.56 for both. There is also the crunchy that has crumbled up cookies in it. My favorite is the creamy. Enjoy!

It so good for helping them learn motor control and it give them an early appreciation for creativity & patience! Focusing on physical writing (as opposed to typing) is SOOOO beneficial for learning how to retain what is being taught or spoken to you. It helps with concentration and focus. Sorry, I'm sure you can tell I have had this conversation more than once. It's probably a strange thing to be passionate about but never the less I still am. :P

I went to the same Catholic school for 12 years; elementary, middle and high school. In first grade we started writing in cursive, we NEVER used print. Later we used the Palmer Method. We all finished high school with clear and beautiful calligraphy. I’m very grateful for that. By the way it was an all girls school, about 28 max per classroom most of us started together in first grade. By the time we graduated we were like sisters and we stayed in contact. I think is a great idea to teach cursive to your kids. Calligraphy is an art that should not disappear. 👍
I always loved US History. It was awesome growing up in the middle of it. We had field trips to Appomattox, Jamestown, Washington D.C., Williamsburg, and Natural Bridge. Come to think of it maybe thats why I loved it so much

The cookie butter: we put it on bread and crackers but if you heat it, you can also put it on pancakes and waffles. The original speculoos butter is by lotus from belgium. We only learn the write in cursive, not print.
Cookie butter is amazing! You can get a similar thing from Walmart in Alaska, it's Biscoff cookie butter. Tastes pretty similar and just as delicious. That's what I do when I miss it!

I was freezing when we dropped to 60 for highs last week LOL! We were almost at 80 today, which is technically way above our normal high temps for this late in October. I'm in southern Kentucky and impatiently waiting on it to stay cold so we can finally turn the AC off for a couple of months. Everyone I know keeps saying it looks like a harsh winter this year, but as long as we don't get ice, it should be fine. I remember the first time I felt an earthquake in Alaska. I was eating cereal and it started swaying in my bowl. Had no idea what was going on and later learned that we had an earthquake. So yeah weird weather stuff. And White Outs now that was scary. We lived in North Pole / Eielson for 4 years. Your videos are a great reminder of my time there and I enjoy getting to see the places around town and how much it has changed. Thank you for sharing your family with us.

Well Bert come down and bring the family to NC at Lake Gaston it is 80 today and will be that way for another two weeks or so, got lots of room...... I hate the cold hahaha It does get cold here once or twice a year in the winter month. very seldom goes below 30 or so.... but it can get down to about 20 degrees every now or then.....

Well Bert come down and bring the family to NC at Lake Gaston it is 80 today and will be that way for another two weeks or so, got lots of room...... I hate the cold hahaha It does get cold here once or twice a year in the winter month. very seldom goes below 30 or so.... but it can get down to about 20 degrees every now or then.....

Omg I just learned of cookie butter last year!!!! Walmart sells it also!!!! It's so good on carmel rice cakes, scooby snacks, Anything!!!! It's so heavenly!!!!
