You gotta have mad respect for a basshead that's willing to learn how to weld and everything else you've had to teach yourself to do this build! Love your uploads Bruce!
So glad to see you comment that!!! One day I hope to look back fondly at this playlist and to be honest I'll probably NEED the details there in order to really remember everything from start to finish. I'm already forgetting how I approached some steps, having to go back and look lol. I can only imagine what it'll be like after 5 years or more
hey EXO, you really need to make sure you have a riving knife at a minimum when using a table saw. it's the steel "knife" that goes behind the blade. when you finished the cut on the table saw at 14 minutes, it looks like you don't have one. Without a riving knife, pieces of wood can rotate as you finish the cut, and bind between the blade and fence and get launched by the backside of the blade. The riving knife keeps the wood from rotating between it and the fence when you finish the cut, and is kind of the bare minimum if you aren't able or don't want to use a full guard. I'm not trying to tell you that you are doing stuff wrong, you're doing great work on this project, just don't want you getting hurt.
Hey brother, here is a welding tip. After welding, if you aren’t feeling too good, it could be from the welding fumes. Drink milk, if doesn’t bother your chrones. For some reason drinking milk helps you to recover.
I know it!!! Sometimes I just sit there and look around at stuff feeling so grateful. I'm beyond happy with the shop and how many tools have accumulated over the last 15 years 🤗 Thank you for noticing!!!!
EXO I’ve been watching you for a wile now. This looks like a great build. I’m a welder fabricator by trade. I’m building stereo systems as a hobby. I noticed something in this episode that I wanted to bring to your attention. You are grinding your welds in the same room your Storting speakers. Your making iron powder. It will find its way in your speaker. The magnetic field will snatch it right out of the air. Just looking out for you dude. Have a great day.
It should not be a problem. Iron powder does not float through of the air like dust. The powder would need to be thrown towards the speaker to within about two or three feet and then it would get pulled to the exterior of the magnet. Again this would not be any type of serious problem. He has plenty of distance and no direct path for the powder to be thrown towards the speakers.
@@JasonWW2000 You are incorrect. I work at a steel mill as a fabricator/welder and have to get my eyes cleaned out before I can get an MRI. That dust gets EVERYWHERE.
I'm a fabricator is well and every phone I've ever owned has had the speakers go out within a month or two from grinding dust. Hope he thoroughly goes through the speakers before installing.
I wonder if the results will be the same if there wasn't so much overkill lol. We will never know but I think you secretly or subconsciously never want it to be over. This thing will be around in 100 years for sure.
Been watching for years man appreciate you helping us all learn and giving us this content to watch and enjoy keep it up brother you taught me everything I know about sub systems much love
So much love and effort is put in this project. To me, IT seems like it's a kind of meditation to you, working by yourself in your beautiful shop. And so ist would be to me, living this dream. Thank you for sharing it with all of us!! Greetings from the other end of the world, Germany.
You hit the nail on the head man, seriously. It's like therapy for me. Thank you for joining the ride during this huge build. Means a lot knowing people like you are here watching! 🙏
What an absolute mountain of work well done! Most effort toward a build I've seen. Not enough folks take pride in thier work anymore. Thankyou for restoring my faith!
Getting closer and closer everyday! I can't wait to look back at all this knowing it took years to accomplish. Wouldn't trade it for the world. Thanks for the comment man 😃
I REALLY THINK EXO DESERVES A CAR AUDIO SHOW NAMED AFTER HIM WHEN HE FINISHES HIS BUILD.I ALSO THINK HE NEEDS A COUPLE SHIRTS BECAUSE I WOULD DEFINITELY PURCHASE SOME.
@@EXOcontralto :D I cant wait for this project to be finished so i can see what these subwoofers can do. I enjoy watching your videos soo much and i learned so much from them about building things etc. I personally have two 12" in my room but that is the loudest i know so i would love to hear something that big. I live in germany but here the thing i that you can't really find good subs and amps. If you could i would have my two jbl subs ;)
God damn these are so satisfying to watch. Piece by piece perfection. I just can’t wait for your first couple weeks, tuning it with mics & all that. What an awesome time to be alive.
Best installer I've honestly ever seen. His precision and detail to everything is top notch. Hope to see him at slam next year. Been following for like 7yrs now. He is a legend
It's coming together super nicely! Im glad it's taking you some time to finish the build, because your videos give me something to look forward to! Keep up the awesome work.
I just checked to see what my first video I watched of yours (I thought maybe like 6 years ago) I've been watching since the van. Can't believe it's been over ten years. RIP the Van. You will forever live on in our memories. Keep up the work man I can't wait to see it bumping!!
I have been watching your videos forever, but this build honestly is like you’re building Noah’s ark on your own and you’re doing a really really really good job. I’m very proud of you. You should be extremely happy with yourself. You are an amazing man.❤
Good to know I have a few videos I can watch back to back to get caught up! And brother…. Your absolutely killing it!! The entertainment and dedication you provide is down right jaw dropping. Would love to hear this thing when it get done!! Keep it up!! Much love!
EXO you really should do the metal working in a different space than the wood working. One spark and the whole place is in fire. Wood dust can almost explode in to flames. Just don't want your hard work go to waste! If you can't make a designated space for metal work, then cut and grind the metal outside. Great progress, keep it up!
Dude your building one of the most solid intricate builds I've ever and the thing about it is teaching me that you don't have to rush you can take your time
I don't know about anyone else, but whenever I come back to the home page or subs, and I see a new Exo video in the mix. It gives me the widest grin! 😆It'd be so cool to meet him some day and listen to this thing. 😂Such a genuine dude just living his best life for the bass. It makes me smile both wholesomely happy and grinning wide with anticipation to another 20+ mins of the behemoth build
Thank you so much!!! Means a lot seeing your screen name pop up all these. You've always been a staple of the community and I'm glad we're good bass bros! Can't wait to try out the new zips you remastered ❤❤
I’d like to make a suggestion for the back wall on top of using the 3 inches thick of wood, use some stout angle iron as reinforcement for the back on the amp side and it will also act as the mounting points for the amps with room behind to run the cables
Your enthusiasm and determination are totally inspiring! Can't wait to see you finish this build! Maybe others have said it before but I HIGHLY recommend you wear a respirator when you're grinding steel or cutting wood. I only had to be blowing metal snot rockets one time to learn that lesson. Unless you wear a respirator, you are 100% breathing in that material and the last thing you need is some crazy health problems down the road caused by all that dust. Harbor Freight even sells respirators!
Can't wait to blast these 12 18's!!! 🔊😊

can we get EXO an adhesive sponsorship ??? He uses more PL Max than the entire country of Finland 😮😅😊
You should put big flower pots in the speaker holes and grow some of the good stuff.
My mom would love that. She has a UA-cam channel called PlantyPants 😊
