If you listen closely, from 0:45 to 1:07 the melody is based off of a descending chromatic scale going from B4 to Bb3.

As a trumpet player, I would rather see Bb than concert pitch, but it sounds good!

You are right, I was debating between the two. I chose concert pitch mostly because the Bb score has five sharps and is very ugly on the eyes.
