He's our role model in this century for sure. He got me in the acting and video production work, so much inspiration and motivation behind this legend.
I have always looked up to Sylvester Stallone as a kid and i love watching Rocky and the Rambo movies 🙂. I have such a huge respect for Sly for his hard work :)
Sylvester Stallone is a TRUE star when stars had power and could draw by their name alone. He's WAY WAY more cleverer and well read than Hollywood gives him credit for.
The attention to detail in First Blood is also alot better than in many modern action movies. Like one of these examples is that Rambo actually holds a M16 by the carrying handle when he's running through the forest. There's so many movies that get things like this wrong, but what stood by me is that in First Blood every detail mattered and was right. It was and still is absolutely amazing.
This man was and will.always be a hero for the kids who were born in the 80s and grew up in the 90s. I m proud to be one of those legion of kids. Love u Mr Stallone. Cheers from India.

Robert Redford did a somewhat similar film to First Blood with Jeremiah Johnson,where his character-a mountain man-takes on hundreds of hostile Indians all over the American wilderness. In Jeremiah Johnson, Redford's character is told by the Indians that he's not wanted in the area, refuses, violates an Indian graveyard and ends up in a one man war with the Indians.
war veterans should be able to get free housing forever or for an extended amount of time until they can build back up to civilian life. Free health care should be a #1 priority aswell because so many have ptsd or trauma from being in war and should get as much free help as possible. The way that our country treats our veterans is disgusting, it has gotten better but still needs improvements especially since how our country says we care about our veterans but in reality the government cares very little about them
Sly. The "expert showman". Was born to be a Hollywood actor action star. He always knows exactly how to be in an interview. Entertaining, humble and never one to put down a fellow actor. So much of it is about luck and timing. Had Sly walked a little faster out of that one audition the "right people" wouldn't have had a chance to call him back to look at the Rocky script he had in his hand. Then there would never have been a Sly Stallone in Hollywood. No Rocky or Rambo films. Funny how life works out. Same for Arnold Schwarzenegger. Not sure what his first b ig break was to get him into film. I think his first film was Hercules In NY. Had he not been a champion...some place at the right time...producers wanting a huge bodybuilder then...we wouldn't have Arnold either. How many pro bodybuilders today have never been asked to be in film and never will...?
Telling the audience reaction when he talks about giving returning soldiers a house :( Very sad every venue of this type is full of people like this. Breaks my heart they do not understand what gives them the ability to sit in an auditorium and listen to an actor answer questions for a couple hours with NO WORRIES whatsoever.
Yes it's incredible double standards isn't it? Liberal or not it's gratitude to people, shouldn't matter who, went to war for the rights of others and have been left homeless. A lot of Hollywood types make political speeches in buildings like that about social issues minutes away from another Skid Row litterally on their doorstep. Incredible. These actors absolutely adore having their egos stroked. It always been amazing to me how they put on different masks depending on the situation. And I'm not talking about the acting masks. Rambo First Blood was everything we needed. Every other Rambo was a disservice to the thing - maybe John Rambo was still ok but far from memorable and great. I think Sly was lucky with the first one and lost track ... It could have been great.

I hate to have to say this because I never like to put people down but the interviewer comes across as weak in comparison to Stallone. Sadly, the calibre of stars and interviewers has diminished to such an extent that it's embarrasssing.
