As a 40 year old I can say this man along with Schwarzenegger Willis and Van Damme changed the movie game.

Yep for me too (41 here). I grew up watching their movies mostly in the 90s (including their movies from the 80s, on VHS mind you... man, memories there). They're icons for me. I would also add Jackie Chan to that group (whom I believe should have appeared in at least one of the Expandable movies). Both Stallone and Schwarzenegger in particular are living legends; they both lived enough to fill up 3 lives of events in a single one, an incredible journey they had.

Rocky is the greatest movie character ever and the best thing about the character is that we can all be just like him. Life is all about getting back up after being knocked down, never giving up, fighting for your family and believing in yourself but most of all it teaches us that the only person who can truly change your life is the person who looks back at you in the mirror. Rocky should be taught in school!

RIP to Burt Young (Paulie) as well. For those unaware, he was an amazing boxer. Dropped out of high school to join the Marines as a 16 year old and was 32-2 vs likely much older guys. He was 14-0 as a pro. I met him at a buffet in Las Vegas about 20 years ago, and he invited me to sit with him since we were both alone. Sweetest guy in the world. Told me that during the "parking garage scuffle part" in part 3 that he was being very careful to not really "crack Stallone's noggin" for real 😂😂😂.

Stallone is my all time favorite actor, and I love everyone of his films. Good, bad and ugly !!!
Also Rip to Carl, you can see the hurt in Sly’s eyes. A 40+ year old friendship is a tough one to break

Ryan Gosling had his own niche with characters from Drive, Only God Forgives or the Blade Runner sequel. He's a modern metropolis detached loner, he doesn't need Rambo
