You don't have to cure it for 6 months. Cold process in general takes 6 weeks' curing to be safe to handle. I just kinda forgot about it for a while lol.

Yes I added lye. If you don't add lye it won't become soap.

Question:- why can we put the entire cucumber puree.
Also how much of menthol crystals did you add.

hi sorry I haven't been on youtube for a while. I swapped the cucumber puree for the same amount the water you would normally use to dissolve lye, so it depends on how much lye you are using. I didn't use all the the puree. I add menthol crystal at about 2-3% of the oil amount.

To add on to this (if ok) please research how to safely use and prepare lye , before using it. There is a ton more to the lye process.. and it can be dangerous if not handled properly

Freeze the cucumber juice into ice cubes. Calculate how much water you need to dissolve the lye, use the same amount but in frozen cucumber, let it melt a little bit then add in lye and mix carefully.
