If you go on Valentine's day they usually have special snacks offered, and a few extra spots in front of Cinderella's Castle that the cast members have special poses they can put you in to take super cute photos!! My partner and I went two yrs ago for valentine's day and the best budget tip is forget the fancy meals, and grab a quick-serve food and sit in the little sitting areas near the castle like your own little picnic!!

Trails End was such a "hidden gem". One of our favorite places! Would eat there 2x a vacation 😜 Can't believe it's gone 😪
Could you do a video on a typical Disney world day for very active small children? For instance the best places to get energy out while taking a break
The queue for Dumbo has a huge indoor playground. There's also a splash pad close by. And as of right now, there is a small playground still open over by splash mountain.

Ok but FOR REAL the best budget tip is DON'T buy the expensive rooms at AKL (unless that's like REALLY ur thing)!! You can walk around outside and see the animals, and they even have cast members out who teach you about them sometimes. AND there's a night event extra where you can go in the dark and see the animals at night with night vision goggles (haven't done it myself but have heard good things). Also, unless you're literally there in the middle of the day, the animals don't come that close like the commercials make it seem. Frankly, you might not even see anything more than the animals walking away or just standing and eating from a distance.
These videos have been so helpful! i'm going to Disney world in November so i've been watching these videos every day to get ready!

You said “who doesn’t have have a train in your back yard”. ....well we did! My dad built a live steam engine just like Walt did and we had a track and trestle in our yard while I was growing up. Dad, who just turned 97, is a train enthusiast like Walt was . We are hoping to come to WDW in May of 2024, and see the Magic Kingdom train, which was closed during our last visit.

Why stay there if not for Stormalong Bay? Beach Club is the closest resort to Epcot, a and a very nice Deluxe resort. It would be a great place to stay even without Stormalong Bay....

We will start our vaca' in AK 1 week from today! A little scared about that 95° weather that will be waiting for us but still excited!
Don’t be afraid of the weather. We went at the beginning of August and didn’t die of the heat! We alternated activities. One that required some outdoor waiting then followed it with indoor activity…show, restaurant etc. We used handheld fans and cooling towels. You can do it😂
I live about an hour away from Disney it is very hot there will be a high heat index so just be careful. The nights are starting to cool down slightly. Make sure that you bring electrolyte drinks with you and bring a cooling towel. Do not push yourself I would say go out early in the morning and then in the evening. Make sure that you do wear some kind of hat and sunblock.the heat is no joke I also work outside so just be mindful . One of the hottest parks to attend will be animal Kingdom and also Hollywood studios in toy story and starwars land no shade.
I wish you also did full Disneyland coverage. Any possibility of having a West Coast crew?
This site has been doing more Land videos lately and they do have a crew. I’m a Disneyland fan 365/24/7 over World too
The line for Tron was almost 2 hours when we went. We had the virtual cue and they called groups 1-30 all at the same time (before the park was even open) and that line was HORRENDOUS! It's also VERY sunny, so it was unbearable. We left the line and decided we would ride it another time... like when there wasn't a heat advisory 😅

About the TRON Virtual Queue; what happens if you scheduled a time slot to get on the ride, but you are on the opposite side of the park and you cannot make it back to TomorrowLand on time, do you lose your place?
I think you have a 15 minute window. But I’d check. Then yes, you lose your place. This is the only ride that is that strict.
My Disney experience app is showing ‘oh no someone has eaten the page!’ Any time I click dining reservations 🤷♀️ I’m uk based and the app and phone don’t need updates etc. anyone else have an issue?

How’s the weather in December
There’s no way I’m going to Disney world this year that park reservation system and the individual park Pricing has me so confused.
the fam and I used to go frequently before covid. But since then prices have rocketed and they just aren’t consistent with their system
It’s not that difficult once you get a hang of it! These DFB, All Ears and Mammoth Club videos have helped tremendously! I know y’all can do it! Don’t let it discourage you from going! ❤

I'm going with my family in early November, and we got a sweet deal on park tickets! We got all our adult tickets at kids prices. Disney is desperate and when they're desperate, we win.
Also Cinderella’s table is a pre paid dining experience meaning it needs to be paid in full at time of booking. I booked today for our trip in December for 5 of us the grand total was $513. We have been to Disney world several times and we have eaten at just about every character dining experience
Except Cinderella’s table, it’s typically booked full I’m not really sure how we scored a table December 26th my travel agent must be a genie .

The first day in Disney World is January 8th. Do I need to make a reservation for just that day? My trip is 8th - 14th
You have to make reservations for each day at the park
If you wanna be in a park on the 8th, even if only for a few hours, yes
The park reservation system expires on Jan 9 (double check) so if you want to be in a park on the 8th then yes for the 8th but for the rest of your days you shouldn’t need to.

I'm staying at All Star Movies.
Fire alarms….in the middle of my Wedding Dinner at Citricos. Can’t pay for that kind of entertainment. All of us trooping outside, me in my wedding dress. How fun is that? I L.O.V.E.D. it.

But I already knew these from watching the “50 things I wish I knew before going to Disney” videos the other 4 times they’ve been posted..
Virtual que is very misleading. I was able to grab a spot in the 1:00 pm drop for guardians at 6: at 5:20 our group was called. We scanned right in, and had a 2 HOUR WAIT to ride. Had I know I never would have done it. I wasted half my evening on 1 ride. THERE IS NOTHING IN DISNEY ANYWHERE THAT IS WORTH A 2 HOUR WAIT!!! NOTHING. Add the increased pricing, nickel and dimeing of everything, and the paid fast pass and the park experience is very disappointing. Far from the happy place that it used to be!
I also heard those virtual ques still meant a wait of at least 30 minutes. But 2 hours, geez! I guess I need to factor in the cost of an ILL, cause I’m still riding Guardians, regardless. 😂
A virtual queue is not a lightning lane! You still have to wait in line for popular rides. They can manage a 2 hour line but not a 4 hour line. The virtual queue gains you the privilege to get in line. Nothing more. And it's free. LL is $20 or more.
@shaggydog2012 Virtual que is supposed to hold your place in line while you do something else so you don't waste your time. If the wait is that long, then they should not be calling the next round of boarding groups. Especially 40 minutes early! Very misleading! And I know the know difference between ILL and virtual que.
That happened to us on Tron. An hour and 45 minutes for virtual queue and very mediocre ride. Don’t care if we ever ride Tron again and certainly wouldn’t pay extra to ride it.
@elainehill5931 I didn't ride Tron. After Guardians we said no way to trying another virtual que and I won't pay for ILL. I already pay an exorbitant amount to get in the park. Changing the name and charging for fast pass is wrong.
i dono how i feel about the mirrors mergeing. It was not a good situation on the way back. Then again, is it ever a good situation on the way back? I slept great at the French quarter, and you can bring your own pillow. I've slept in alot of hotels (hilton mostly) so that was the best night stay EVER! yea your paying more for a fancy stay, but still. The one complaint I had was the honking at like 10;00 at night.....Half way through you will get used to it, but still it's funny and frustrating at the same time. Also Jelly shoes are sooooooooooooooo 2000s (just saying sorry if you like them can't help if your stuck in the odds) "USE YOUR CARD!" I'm so glad people listen to the short weirdo in line when i yell something important
Having to pay for everything that was once free and no free dining plan makes wdw trips pointless

I love watching these videos and they do help navigate the confusing world of Disney, but could you possibly PLEASE delete the dated footage of everyone in masks? It's getting better, but it still sneaks in to many of the videos. It makes sense to show old festival footage, but the masks specifically date things. Make them go away. But thanks again for the great help!
