If perfect teeth are a sign of being a "visitor," then I'd be screwed. I had to have major reconstructive surgery, including bone grafts on my mandible. Both arches are actually a special form of dental implants called "all-on-4." Which means I have two full plates (much like traditional dentures) that each attach to four implant posts.
@The-Doctor6969 That's actually a really rare condition called ploycoria. True polycoria occurs when someone has two, fully functioning pupils in one eye, each with its own sphincter muscle. Then there is pseudopolycoria which is when some other condition gives the appearance of having two pupils in one iris. Pseudopolycoria happens when some other eye condition, like trauma, atrophy of the iris, or iris coboloma, a condition where an individual is missing tissue in the iris (usually from birth.)
The detail of the skull on a pike having its teeth ripped out, and the visitor who killed the neighbors daughter having teeth that didn't tip you off is terrifying because it shows that they can learn.
@@sheisaMachine At least that's how I interpreted it. I believe the Visitors started learning that having perfect teeth would get them rejected, and started to adapt.
Very nice video but I disagree with some of your opinions 1: The visitors are a bioweapon, not an infected human. I think so because they have immense deformities and/or weird behavior which definitely couldn't be a result of radiation, also visitors are clearly not native to our planet or even related to human species as can be seen by them being able to not suffocate and not get fried while underground 2: Biology of visitors and their possible origin Visitors are most likely a life form that is very similar to plants when in it's "fetus" state. They are located underground as seeds dropped into our atmosphere by something else, quietly collecting nutrients and very slowly growing into bigger fetuses (receiving nutrients kinda like mushrooms do) so that when radiation hits(which I think is needed for their rapid development and growth) they can rapidly transform from a large fetus into a "human" being and begin fulfilling their instincts encoded in their genes. This also explains why they emerged right when the first solar flare hit 3: A little astronomy class Solar flares produce both radiation and heat, which is exactly why I believe that it's not just the radiation that's harming the real humans, besides that an average temperature during summer in eastern europe is 30-35°C, a 20-40°C increase in temperature when a solar flare this powerful hits is possible, besides that glaciers wouldn't melt immediately and still would take some time. 4: How visitors operate There are 2 major kinds of visitors so far 1: Doppelganger(passive hunter) 2: Active hunter (pale man) Explanation for 1: Passive hunters are relatively weaker and plentiful kind of visitors that exist to infiltrate humans and cause distrust and terror, they are the same level of strength/slightly stronger than humans and also posses a lot of intelligence and ability to sense other visitors (which explains why they only kill when theres 2 or more visitors in the house) just like active hunters they prefer more tactical and quiet approach. Also they exploit emotional human weakness to make people trust them (Utilizing pity and mercifulness to not get kicked out, Utilizing human greed as to not get kicked out, Utilizing human desire to have allies in their quest, etc.) Explanation for 2: Active hunter (like the pale man) is very resilient and powerful kind of visitor that exists to halt human operations(destroyed a group of soldiers and likely stopped FEMA from completing research) however it most likely relies on agility and stealth which explains why he doesn't want to break in when he knows there's people inside that could cause a lot of noise, and noisy approach isn't his prefered method of combat. (Also active hunters are possibly the superiors of visitors directing them, but I don't think so) Conclusion: Visitors are bioweapons that grow like seeds and require plenty of solar radiation to finish their growth, they are divided into 2 main groups of active and passive hunters, they also utilize human emotions and behavior to seem like friends, and they prefer stealth The likely temperature that resulted after solar flares is 50-70°C outside (idk the radiation level unfortunately) This took a while to write and if you have a correction or a suggestion let me know, have a great day
Awesome theory, i think the radiation zombies /mutating people makes a lot of sense! 3 comments though. Calling "cold girl" as "coat guy" is crazy. First time i ever heard someone assume that was a man 😂 Cashier girl from the beginning *will* kill people. But Visitors only kill someone overnight if you have 2 or more at a time. So, except for the 4th night where there's 3 visitors to let in, you won't ever get that message if you sus-out any visitors you let in each day. Lastly, Suit Guy actually is a visitor. Or at least he counts as 1 for whether you live/die and whether people get killed overnight. He does drop garbage bags if you shoot him and doesn't show many signs, so maybe he's just a Killer? Anyways, great vid! Love the voice acting!

There's actually another bad ending. If you murder too many of your tenants (both humans and visitors alike) - the rest of them will drove your out of your house after the last night out of fear and you will burn under the sun. So sun burn is VERY REAL. That's why you should probably complete game 3 or more times before making a lore or theory videos, no offence. But you are smarter than me in other regards because it never occurs to me that body bags means human and censored corpse means visitor. Also why should solar radiation disappear during the night? It's radiation after all - radiation doesn't vanish so easily, no? Although I'm not physist and I suppose developers are not physics either and this game story more of the mystical kind. I suspect they leave some details very vague intentionally and some answers we will never get - it's much creepier and darker that way.

Your Humor, soothing voice, & Commentary really makes you stand out from the rest & i love the 'Shadow of the Axolotl' name, it's Cute, Adorable, funny & really unique much like your content! love the thorough in depth timelines of fear & hunger. I Honestly can see you having 500K subs in no time! Keep up the good work man. The way you make your videos made me think you had at least 100+ Videos up already. 10/10 Homie! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Interesting choice of game to cover, and it's a rather bleak tale from what's available. I'd say you're pretty spot-on about the Visitors being radiation monsters, although I've no clue how it can reanimate the dead. Perhaps there's a mutagenic virus at play as well?
Anyway, another good video, and you even got a hefty ensemble to do voice work! Most impressive.
Great video, the good thing about this game is that it's only in its beta, so thereis still a lot more content to come
8:04 Ngl I thought she had a crutch 🩼, like just one. My brain always just saw how her shoulder was and assumed she was like, holding herself up cause she was about to fall?
Saw this games gameplay once and I was instantly hooked, one of the few games that's actually scared me ever, and I've seen em all
If perfect teeth are a sign of being a "visitor," then I'd be screwed. I had to have major reconstructive surgery, including bone grafts on my mandible. Both arches are actually a special form of dental implants called "all-on-4." Which means I have two full plates (much like traditional dentures) that each attach to four implant posts.
That’s what I’ve been thinking, especially as I’m currently finishing up my braces; anyone lucky enough to have nice teeth would be screwed here lmao
I believe the surgeon character had work done, tells the protag, and is not a visitor. He also has two pupils in one eye @@MorganTheGorgon
I still think the little girl was a visitor at the start of the game
The cashier does kill. I did 3 runs, nobody ever died when I didn't let her in.
The detail of the skull on a pike having its teeth ripped out, and the visitor who killed the neighbors daughter having teeth that didn't tip you off is terrifying because it shows that they can learn.
What??
@@sheisaMachine At least that's how I interpreted it. I believe the Visitors started learning that having perfect teeth would get them rejected, and started to adapt.
Very nice video but I disagree with some of your opinions
1: The visitors are a bioweapon, not an infected human.
I think so because they have immense deformities and/or weird behavior which definitely couldn't be a result of radiation, also visitors are clearly not native to our planet or even related to human species as can be seen by them being able to not suffocate and not get fried while underground
2: Biology of visitors and their possible origin
Visitors are most likely a life form that is very similar to plants when in it's "fetus" state. This also explains why they emerged right when the first solar flare hit
3: A little astronomy class
Solar flares produce both radiation and heat, which is exactly why I believe that it's not just the radiation that's harming the real humans, besides that an average temperature during summer in eastern europe is 30-35°C, a 20-40°C increase in temperature when a solar flare this powerful hits is possible, besides that glaciers wouldn't melt immediately and still would take some time.
4: How visitors operate
There are 2 major kinds of visitors so far
1: Doppelganger(passive hunter)
2: Active hunter (pale man)
Explanation for 1: Passive hunters are relatively weaker and plentiful kind of visitors that exist to infiltrate humans and cause distrust and terror, they are the same level of strength/slightly stronger than humans and also posses a lot of intelligence and ability to sense other visitors (which explains why they only kill when theres 2 or more visitors in the house) just like active hunters they prefer more tactical and quiet approach. Also they exploit emotional human weakness to make people trust them (Utilizing pity and mercifulness to not get kicked out, Utilizing human greed as to not get kicked out, Utilizing human desire to have allies in their quest, etc.)
Explanation for 2: Active hunter (like the pale man) is very resilient and powerful kind of visitor that exists to halt human operations(destroyed a group of soldiers and likely stopped FEMA from completing research) however it most likely relies on agility and stealth which explains why he doesn't want to break in when he knows there's people inside that could cause a lot of noise, and noisy approach isn't his prefered method of combat. (Also active hunters are possibly the superiors of visitors directing them, but I don't think so)
Conclusion:
Visitors are bioweapons that grow like seeds and require plenty of solar radiation to finish their growth, they are divided into 2 main groups of active and passive hunters, they also utilize human emotions and behavior to seem like friends, and they prefer stealth
The likely temperature that resulted after solar flares is 50-70°C outside (idk the radiation level unfortunately)
This took a while to write and if you have a correction or a suggestion let me know, have a great day
@@GlyphidGuard I think all the points you've made are valid. Time will tell
Awesome theory, i think the radiation zombies /mutating people makes a lot of sense!
3 comments though.
Calling "cold girl" as "coat guy" is crazy. First time i ever heard someone assume that was a man 😂
Cashier girl from the beginning *will* kill people.
Love the voice acting!
in the wiki its actually written that its a guy xd
@@thejumpmaster314 I just browsed the wiki last night and saw that XD
maybe the developer confirmed it, but at least after 10~ youtube watch-throughs, this is the only one that didn't assume he was a girl lol.
@@TheSecondFlock i di d assume it was a girl when i played it lol
She is a girl, and uses feminine cases in russian when talking about herself, which is, well, can't exactly be translated
good theory and nice video format / production value !
Fire had this playing in the background while busy with an assignment 🔥🔥
Nice Swans reference there at the beginning 🤙
SHADOWS BACK! (I was asleep when this came out sobbing/j)
This game really sounds interesting! Cant wait to see it come out fully to play, and this theory is really interesting I'll be thinking about it for the whole day if not more
Mannn this video is high quality. I tought u atleast had 100k. Welp heres new sub. Remember me when u become famous!
this game have a high chance to be a movie
i love SWANS. GOD DAMN THE SUN
Nice 🎉🎉🎉 Peak Lore videos again!
Im just gonna say his buttttt did you check if the little girl if she a visitor ?
probably its edited or something thats why i didn't see you check the little girl
you check everyone when they join you in your house except the little girl when she came in your house
@@anosnajime5775 oh, she was the one that died to a visitor. The game glitched and she appeared alive, but I couldn't click on her
@@shadowtheaxolotl afaik the devs were mixed about depicting the kid dying/leaving bags behind so she just becomes kitchen furniture instead if the visitors get to her
I thought coat guy was a girl...
@@SamGarcia wiki calls him a guy
@@shadowtheaxolotlwell, it may not be seen in english, but in russian translation she uses feminine cases when speaking about herself. It's pretty much untranslatable
Your theory is interesting. It's possible that fema are actually angels.
The main song for this game is so perfect. I hate it. Well done.
A great video, thank you❤

Only curious because why is Judge Holden
This UA-cam encouraged me to download the iPhone version of this game - but it was barely playable.
This gives me when day breaks vibes
when is FEMA never lying to you?
It was a solar flare, its definitely solar radiation
Shadeaudeaqelotel, Shadowdaeaxelotl, Sydioxyotyl, don't mind me, just work shopping your handle into a name for an Eldritch Horror. . .
There wasn't a big at the end. Suit guy isba visitor, so he killed you
I think the game wasn't bugged and the man in the suite killed you
i dont think your game was bugged.. guests eventually get sent back
Your channel and your videos are amazing - do you have a discord or anything for the community? I've been active in the F&H 1 and 2 discord, the steam guides, and am an active wiki editer. Would be cool to be able to help with input or anything :)
@@showseanjamie feel free to add me on discord @shadowlotl__
Heat is a form of radiation btw
Very interesting. Lots of good points. Many bad ones too, but I enjoyed this theory. I think the visitors being the resurrected is genius. They don't even seem to know they are visitors. Buuuuuuuuuuut, what causes them to kill "humans"?
The game was good without any voice acting
you know heat is radiation, right?
i didnt know coat guy was a male i thought he was female
it is a female
I dont wanna be mean but whoever voiced the guy with a stained shirt needs to erm... maybe keep that hidden talent hidden
Isn't the face of that guy in the thumbnail ripped off of that one pedo judge from that one book?
edit: They 100% just ripped that guys face from Judge Holden.
What does VA stand for?
Voice actor
Occupation: Depressed
Relatable.
Vc eh brasilero?
I thought coat guy was a woman
the games translation is absolutely horrid
At first when I was learning about the lore of this game, I thought it was a metaphor for how the middle class sees the lower class, as aliens. The observation of their dirty nails, their poor eye care and even observing their teeth. Obviously that isn't the impression the creators were intending, but it's just an interesting thought.
You need touch grass more...
@dagoth7351 you don't think poor hygiene are signs of impoverished people? I ride the bus in LA and these are things I see all the time tbh
@@kamakozy13 No, absolutely not, the developers were making a game in VHS-horror genre... Not with the implication that capitalism is bad or something with "deep sense"
@@dagoth7351 the game features distrust in systems of power(government) and distrust of others and general paranoia. I don't think it's a reach at all to think it might be about systems of power larger than the individual being dangerous. We disagree.
@@kamakozy13 Bro... the game was made and is being made by the russians, they don’t have such an obsession with the government or terrible capitalism, it’s just a game, I have no right to tell you what to believe in and what theories to come up with... it’s just wild for me
Local nerd regurgitates the world's most obvious things to anyone that ever watched a playthrough of the game. More at 11.
this game is bad to me, to the inconsistency of when the player pull out their gun to the the smiling man killing people and the hazmat fema guy just around the corner acting like nothing happened and what if you just let no one in? Wouldnt that be the smarter choice? Those things just take away from the atmosphere and its not even scrary to me. I dont get why everyone is praising this game.
i can't argue your other points, but there's a reason you can't turn everyone away, the smiling man who asks if you're alone WILL kill you if there's no one inside with you, in any other circumstance it would be logical, but with the added factor of the smiling man it makes sense to have at least SOMEONE in your home
The footage is a demo of sorts, so the actual game will be different, you can’t turn away everyone or you’ll be killed
the inconsistency? they pull out their gun whenever a person shows a sign of being a visitor. if the person doesnt have a sign then it doesnt pull it out. the fema guy is acting like nothing happened cuz they are suspicious and thats part of the story (thats going to be expanded on) and as the other guy says if you dont let anyone in you will lose the game since the guy who checks if you are alone will take you
@@yoahnoah9780 And fema being sus doesnt mean they can just chill out with a monster like that? Isnt the soldier part of fema as well? It just doesnt feel real to me like i can just tell this is a video game
Remember it’s just a demo. Personally I’m excited for a new pre-apocalyptic video game, especially an indie one. I don’t have any strong opinions (positive or negative) about this game yet since it’s just the demo. I get everyone likes different games but I hope you can keep an open mind. It’s still in development so try not to be too critical about it, since it’s a small dev team :)
