Hello Steve, thanks for the videos. I had a question for you. I am currently in an earth science class. Long story short, I have an assignment that is a sketch of 4 layers of outcropping sections. I have to use the Michigan stratigraphic nomenclature chart for it. We are supposed to find the age for each layer of sediment. When I look up our site on the chart, it all falls under Devonian. Yet, I need 4 ages. Could you do a video on how to read a chart like Michigan’s? I’m sorry if my question does not make much sense. I am a student and my teacher wants us to figure it out.

Brizz Love I can do a geo-rant on how to read stratigraphic columns. I can even use the Phanerozoic Michigan one although I study the Precambrian, but a stray column is a stray column. Your teacher may also be trying to trap you. Remember things like unconformities. I don’t know if it’s based on a real place. I also don’t know if your prof is a geologist.

Had to stop. You are killing me with the driving and map pointing. Can you just shoot these videos when not driving?

I haven’t shot a video while driving in a long time because of all the complaints.

Matthew Eddy it is all good. I understand the frustration.
