your company needs to have more basic information about what your products actually do on your site. For people just getting into this more information is needed.
Looks like a good tool, will look into it. One thing though. When it comes to hair, the hair should move (or hidden parts masked away) because a hat shouldn't have to be tweaked around, due to strands poking through the model. Rather implement a brush that can paint away geometry you don't want in the scene.
Excellent a updated series for beginners. I purchased mine at 7.0 and most of the tutorials I've been learning from are years old. This is great for people like me up to date material 👍👍👍

Overall I have found CC3 to be quite impressive. That said, I would really like to see a better import process into Blender. The armature brought in (via FBX) leaves a lot to be desired IMO. I know FBX isn't going to support all Blender features, and thus I believe what is needed is a blender add-on that enables the creation of a more advanced rig with custom bone shapes, and the like (similar to a Rigify setup). Having to re-rig with rigify would be a pain (but useful) - I can get by with existing armature for simple poses though -- for animation though, a full rig would be absolutely necessary. Not sure why models come in tessellated versus quad geometry - maybe just a setting. On the bright side, all the facial expressions come in very nicely as custom shapes -- very nice! More training videos would be very welcome. Once substance is integrated into 3.1 (for 3.0 base models), this is going to be quite an amazing product.
@@squekkr1990 both I think either inferior to blender, or soon to be, and not that friendly to hobbyists or indie developers. Kind of a shame to be outpaced by a free tool, but now Blender has support from Nvidia, AMD, Amazon, Intel, Unity, Epic games, Google, Microsoft, Activision, and Steam...
just curious, why you need to import Maya character to CC3 since the whole point of CC3 is to create easy characters with skeleton and skins, so you don't need to do it in heavy tools like maya or zbrush, it's like doing reverse work.
Quite impressive, but i can't seem to download body types, hairs, or clothes. Doesn't help that english isn't my first language, might just be too technical for me

Great tutorial. But for some reason no matter what I do when I bring my custom created obj shirt into character Creator 3 the armpits are always messed up and I tried using the skin weight option to clean it up smoothing...etc with no luck. I just found out about this program, I hope it’s good for what I wanna do: make a base mesh with the right proportions to then export in Blender to sculpt on
