I think that you are right Nick, better suited for a pint of Brakspears at that well known rowing town than punching wind over tide in the Solent. Each to his own and nothing wrong with messing about on the river 👍.

I'll bet my wooden shoes - splinters and all - that this boat will be the HIT of the summer of 24. Versatile. Comfortable. Useful. And FUN. The price fits nicely in the range of "cuddy cabin" sport boats as well. I'll advise you stop investing in tulip bulbs and instead put your hard earned funds into an "Interboat Intender 950 Cabin". Neat little day/weekend boat, and pretty budget friendly. A mid-sized engine option would be nice, maybe a diesel in the 200-250hp range for those of us who would want a bit more speed, but don't necessarily need 25+ knots.

I love this little weekender! It’s designed well with high quality finishes and that single Yanmar sips fuel as well. One of your qualities that I admire about you Nick is your enthusiasm for even minimalistic boats. It keeps me tuning in🙂 There may be naysayers whining about the quarter million price tag, but I find the price reasonable considering the overall accommodations and quality. I could easily see myself enjoying the Great Loop on this economic platform.
By the way, would you have any idea how much more the Volvo Penta 320 option would add to the price?

I had a 23 foot Fairline Holiday for years, and I was told it was only good for an overnight trips. I did a two week holiday and went to sea many times on it.
They were a great little boat. It was definitely designed for holidays, Fairline made the Fairline 21 Weekend for weekends 🙂

With that huge rear locker, half empty engine bay, and its aim to be a river boat, I'm suprised it's not electric (or hybrid).

A very nice boat. However, I think the price is too high. If you compare this boat with the Terra Nauta 30 that you presented a month ago, you get "more" boat for less investment with the Terra Nauta. Incidentally, I think that these smaller boats are almost more interesting than the large yachts.
