Best advert ever for never buying a new yacht. Great way to avoid massive depreciation and inflated new prices.
Great to have the wine fridge next to the helm . The captain will be pleased 😁
$3m for such a boat seems like a bargain. Even though it is 7 years old now, it looks like new. Triple engines gives you triple confidence when crossing open water. Love it.
yeah too good to be true
"The lot", "crockery", and a "wave in the mirror". What more could we ask for?? Nice yacht. I like the layout and colors. Another great yacht tour, Nick!! Thank you!!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it! 🙂
Wow, I can really see myself and my partner living on that and just cruising the world! what a beautiful yacht!
Are you taking on crew?
Me too.
*looks at bank account* Oh… forget it…
Just got back from looking at Sunseekers in Poole and enjoying a cup of tea with Nicks video. Smashing.
No worries, Nick...we got you covered...3:20 that was a trash compactor. 💯😜
Hullo, Maggie...looking lovely as always. 😎
👍🏻
A faithful student of the Aquaholic School of Yachting here. My fantasies seem to settle upon the 78 to 85 foot range, so this baby is ringing my ship’s bell quite loudly!
Sharp looking yacht. Like the decor
would love to see a lot more dutch boats. this one is lovely.
I like the gally with the helm like they have it. I like the day head right at the bottom of the stairs to.
“Massive thanks” for the tour Nick😊!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
WOW !! That is beautiful !! Absolutely love that interior color scheme, would really like to see others follow !! A truly uplifting and "get lost" treat !! Love that lower deck if you don't feel like going upstairs for a snack, it's all there !! AMAZING !! Another one for the year end top 10 consideration !! Thank you Nick, safe travels !!
Glad you liked it! 😃
Absolutely love Dutch boats. Would be great to have more on the chancel. Great Nick.
Wine fridges right next to the helm station. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it here. 😅😉 Thank you for the lovely tour, Nick.
Finally. A yacht with REAL speakers.
I've got Bose 301's, they make a difference
Rico, is that you?
@@yanni2112 The brand those in the know don't buy. :) All hype, high price and poor performance.
And only grossly over priced
There has been one on the channel before with a multichannel Klipsch system. These are indeed B&W PM1 speakers. Quite rare, only produced for some time. Stood between the CM, and the high end 800 series.
Anyone else hear the Simon Park orchestra as soon as they saw Van der Valk or am i just REALLY old?
Loving this yacht. Thanks for the tour.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it! 🙂
Eye Level
Thanks to our brilliant Nick, I feel educated over the years from this channel, and I think I have earned a little bit of snobbery! While this boat certainly beats the New York City Subway I take every morning, I must point out the VIP cabin does not have its own en suite, and shares it with the next-door cabin. Not on MY yacht it doesn’t! Shame! Also to have the crew cabin mere steps away from the other cabins seems… Unusual, no? Perhaps everyone makes love together. That would be lovely. To put the kitchen, literally right next to the helm? Just seems like a weird layout. Certainly a different layout. Oh screw it all: I’ll TAKE it!
Thumbs up for the PWC comment. It feels so good to hear you say that.
Another great tour from Nick. Thanks
My pleasure!
Thanks Nick! Dutch yachts are just "stunning!"..😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Unusual to have crew accommodation smack bang in the middle of the staterooms. For that the owners must be laid back and great to work for being so inclusive. Nice touch to be honest. Great boat Nick. Really like this one.
Lovely family/friend boat that. Thanks Nick. Bit of that good ol escapism..
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃
@@AQUAHOLIC God bless mate.
Very nice boat Nick. who would know it had travelled so far? Lovely!
Surprisingly nice inside, pleasingly more deluxe than explorer. You also forgot to mention the outside deck is one-level walk around, no steps. Very desirable feature IMO.
Hi Nick, Nice very nice Nick this dutch build van Der Valk from 2016 and for a van Der valk its a big one a very comment yacht in the Netherlands mostly for inlet water ways with a cozy salon the galley almost together with the bridge looks nice below 2 guest cabins and a master one crew space when needed or a overflow guest room Thank you Nick thats was great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
What a delightful vessel this is! Thank you so much for giving us a tour! 🍷
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃
What do you need more on a yacht? Superb! But as a Dutchy I naturally look at Van Der Valk with a bias 🥰 Well done Nick, as always.
3 million seems very reasonable for this. Pre-owned but looks new. Great video. 🇦🇺 😊
Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful! Well done Nick as always!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Much more understated than the last one with the flashy glass ceiling 😊
Brilliant tour as always! The main living room was beautiful, I loved the choice of material throughout this boat. Glad to hear its been used and well appreciated!!
Lovely boat
Great viewing Nick. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Fantastic tour as always Cheers Nick.
No worries 🙂
Not bad... Helps that we got a Wave in this time.
I have to say, I do like the way they've done the crew area on this one. Great standars, decent facilities and even usable for extra guests if preferred.
Darned Nick I have the Van Der Valk theme 'Eye Level' as an ear worm now gggrrr
Boat sales: sorry Sir can't give you much in Part Exchange, it's been round the block a few times, 3 engines will be hard to move on.
Me: honest gov I treated it with kid gloves and never took it out in a storm.
But honestly a cracking boat, nice size, ally body and enough HP to get out of a tricky spot. If lottery comes in tonight Bob Dennison will hear from me in the morning 😎. Cheers DougT
Love that yatch thanks Nick.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Very interesting how it's 76' but just seems so much larger than that. Until you get to the VIP guest suite and it doesn't have an en-suite, gently reminding you it's certainly not a small yacht but not that large either. Great tour as always!
For a 2016 boat it looks like it’s just come out for the first time it’s absolutely gorgeous, i could definitely see myself cruising down the Amalf coast just having a blast with family and friends, then docking in Capri and people walking past thinking lucky bugger 😊 ok again back to reality. Cheers Nick for letting me get taken away again. 👍👍👍
Always a pleasure! 🙂
Looking at the controls that boat is a serious ship. No wonder it has traveled so much.
Wow!! Stunningly beautiful / perfectly practical and capable / very cozy -- what a great boat... thanks for the tour! Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it!
GYR FALCON?
Now THAT'S a name I can get behind!
Almost a decade old- nice!
What a fabulous, stylish, classy yacht ooooozing character👍! Absolutely love this Boat🎉❤😊
A beautiful yacht, really nice finishes and layout, strange place for the crew cabin but it is a good size and nicely appointed. Pity you could not crank those bad boy speakers up I bet they sound awesome. Great tour as always Nick thank you so much.
My pleasure!
really like that. Very comfortable and great use of space
I really am impressed with, and like this, boat. I do like the main deck layout. If you think you need more lounging space around the helm, you'd honestly do most of the driving on the fly bridge. Lower deck is such an interesting layout. Think I'd lose the crew area and make a nice utility space. Still plenty of room to keep the small bunk room. And the range, wow. Nick, you keep getting us on such interesting boats, and I thank you for that.
You're very welcome! 🙂
Beautiful yacht Nick and excellent video 🚤🛥⛵️👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Many thanks!
Stunning well thought out ship; Thank you for showing this and so many more.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Putting in some real work for us, Nick. Thank you! Some more affordable (
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
What a dream boat for the money
Yes this one looks like it has been well thought out from years of use. Quite minimalist looking but everything is EXACTLY where you want it.
Nice !
One for Christmas😁 Thanks for the tour😁
You bet!
Nick Aquaholic Never Ever DISAPPOINT
Another Flawless Tour
⛱️👙🍾👙🥂👙🥃🎊
really like this boat. interesting layout of the galley. and it suits my taste with all the dark wood and chrome. very nice. thanks as always Nick, great job.
A star of a family yacht, that can be used for all purposes imaginable 😀 and oh, that flybridge bar😋 Thanks Nick😄
Afternoon Nick
Good afternoon!
Beautiful boat nick
Have to say Nick gorgeous yacht especially for the age and the distance it’s covered . Great tour as usual 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
£2,406,815 now that’s a good price and it has been dropped down to that. With one million dollars spent on refurbs what a time to win big and buy this beauty.
Wow thats stunning, absolutely everything i would want, love the colour, layout inside and out and the performance, bargain as well. Your boat tours are tops Nick, you have a unique style which is very watchable and entertaining.
Thanks so much! 🙂
Very nice boat well worth the refit and they done a wonderful job and I got to say I love the locking hatches they have to access the engine room that's got to be the first I've seen there's a lot of money and safety at risk with not having them don't know why other boats don't have this
I love how theres just one little sandwich in the entire fridge 😆
Beautiful, beautiful Yacht x
Wonderful yacht for touring the world! Great tour as always Nick, thank you.
Really like the decor, main deck and flybridge on this one, although not 100% convinced on the lower deck layout.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
If you want a decent boat, ask a dutchman.
I love the dutch!
She is stunning. I would buy her at a heart beat. I just love the colour of the table in the cockpit area. I wouldn't change a thing about her. Thank you so much Nick for taking us on a tour of her..
Yes I have to agree with you, the cheering crowds can only be for you. What other reason is there
I totally agree! 😄
Love the videos Nick! Inspired by the Dreams video. Will be getting my Four Winns in the water this weekend 🤩
AWESOME!! Have fun! 😃
@@AQUAHOLIC thanks so much!
PS wish I could subscribe twice come on 500k!
Love the kitchen/helm Station. Lol. Plus the brand name, as soon as I read that I started humming the theme song. Bit different from the traditional explorer yachts.👍
When I saw this posted I thought, is Barry Foster the Captain (for those of a certain vintage). Of course not, he’s long gone. But another great vid. The galley/helm layout is fun.
Thanks again Nick ❤ 😊
My pleasure!
Beautiful yacht; very uncluttered helm station, upper and lower. Very impressive - until you get to the engine-room. Is it just me, or did that seem rather cramped? I know she's got three engines: all of which take up a fair chunk of space; but I got the impression of a lof of stuff, (generator, water-maker etc.), being sort of a bit of an afterthought. I'm probably being picky, but for that kind of money, I'd want decent access. Excellent tour, as always. Thank you Nick
Big compliment on your pronunciation of "van der Valk". :-)
Thanks for the tour! I really like this yacht, maybe because I'm Dutch. ;-)
Thank you! 🙂
Thank you AQUAHOLIC compliment video brilliant explanation exhaustive Yacht Tour 216 Van Ser Valk 3 Million very beautiful designer deitail are accurate.
Great episode! Very nice boat! Thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Thanks Nick
My pleasure!
That's a boat we could live in long term. It doesn't need crew but can accommodate a number of guests.
Galeon fan myself, but this is a strong competitor for my liking. Great job, mate.
Nick, you legend.
😎
needed to hear "crockery" today, thank you!
Happy to help! 😄
Maggie getting ready for her next cruise and with that Salon WOW you will be safe and comfortable. With those speakers 🔊 you can party 🥳 or listen to soothing 🎵🎶.
Dark wood contrasts nicely with white walls and carpets.
2016 for a boat of this age and nautical miles she is in excellent condition. Nice boat very versatile can ne a charter boat, but my preference is owner operator or a family boat cruiseing the world or shorter trips. 2,500 nautical miles at displacements speed. She a serious cruiser.
Don't know if i am the only one who noticed, but the paintings in the rooms are realy beautiful. Sets the mood and very tastefull sea-scapes. Van der Valk, Dutch kwality, what can i say as a Dutchman? Thank you again sir.
My pleasure!
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham for a sub 80ft yacht I quite like it, it's more interesting than a Dutch detective for sure and I'd continue to put the nautical miles on her if I was so lucky to own her. I love her look and how she's kitted out etc but for a boat of this size I find the accommodation layout very strange ,only 3 cabins and it must be the first VIP cabin I've seen without a en suite not even a jack & Jill style, not that it would bother me but unused no? Overall I wouldn't say no but different and that can be good as they say. Many thanks Nick for finding another interesting yacht and one of your top notch tours as ever, all the best from Cornwall 🤗✌️👍
That's very nice 10 out of 10 and a 10 for the aquaholic wave sorry did not get to watch yesterday been in hospital for hart issues again but watching your videos again keeps it all calm lol
Oh no! Hope things are improving for you
@AQUAHOLIC couple of stents put in to hart and should be all good on plus side iv got all your videos to watch again while il be of to stop me climbing the wall lol
@@onefrazzer Very best of luck with it 🙂
@AQUAHOLIC thank Nick
I believe that Van Der Valk is the absolute BEST boat designer and builder the world has at this moment. Beautiful boat...
I enjoy your videos very much. I would like to have you explain or rather, point out more components in the engine room. For example; water makers, power converters, hydraulics, fuel polishers, etc. I like the technical aspects of these vessels. thanks.
Unique arrangement of galley/helm and crew cabin. Like it. At sea, is there always a crew member who can maintain engines? Thanks again for keeping it fresh and upbeat.
"Brilliant" honestly describes this boat. Crew space is decently done on the passenger deck. The engine room has reasonable space/facilities for on-the-go maintenance. Yachting is only secondarily about 'flash:' (If at all.)
Certainly not my cup of tea in the design, but none the less great Aquaholic tour!
Nice! 2500 miles @ 10 knots. That’s NYC to any Caribbean island.
I call it a water scooter. Yes, Jet Ski is a brand. It is also commonly used to describe any scooter, watercraft or whatever you want to call it.
If you don't capitalise it then jet ski is generic. That a term is trademarked is only a restriction on commercial use of the term not colloquially use.
Tell me you weren't humming the theme tune the 70's TV series the whole time and I won't believe you 😂
I'm afraid that I wasn't born in the seventies*, so I've no idea what you're talking about... 🙂
*This may not be strictly true 😳
I’m not massively keen on American boats so haven’t clicked on your channel for a while (I guess they are designed for different climates, tastes and uses) BUT I clicked on this one and (thinking it was another US boat) and was surprised that I really liked it, but didn’t clock in the title that it was a Van Der Valk (silly me). Which begs the question: it would be great to explore the difference between US and EU boats in terms of what owners want and expect from their boats.
Welcome back! 🙂
'cause maybeeee
You're gonna be the one who saves meeee
And after aaaall
You're my Van Der Vaaaalk
Great, now that's stuck in my head for the next three days! 😣
Cool
Certainly an interesting vessel. I personally am not at all keen on the galley setout in relation to the helm station. Never seen kitchen cabinetry / wine cooler in such a location. Still, that's my opinion and I certainly respect whoever owning it choosing the layout that suits their needs!
Hi Nick will you get the chance to do big boats again ?
Those speakers look like they were made from a cyberman’s head.
There must be a crew working the boat. Just keeping it clean is a job.
