- Replacing the aux battery in my 2013 G63. Should be the same procedure in all W463 models. Used a 14-BS motorcycle battery instead of buying one from the dealer for a crazy price

great video. Do you happen to have a video of the cleaning of the airpump for the seats? My seats bolsters dont move on both seats but the adjustments work. Im wondering if i have to get a new airpump or just clean it like you said.
No I didn't make a video, however if the adjustments work, it doesn't sound like it's your air pump. Do you hear the pump come on at all?
@@ViperMike I don’t hear the pump turned on at all. Thanks to your video I was able to pull it out and ordered the new one. It’ll arrive next week so hopefully once the pump is changed the seats will work. I’m not sure if it might be a fuse outage too.
@@soroushmazaherkermani1722 Did you check that you have power at the connector? The pump is fairly easy to fix, I would try repairing it first before you install a new one. They aren't cheap from what I remember. I'll try make a video on it today
@@ViperMike update: i received a new pump and problem still remain. Now i want to see if maybe the fuse is out, but cant locate the correct fuse box. My guide says its F63-F64 30amp on fuse box E but no clue where to look. I looked at what i thought was fuse box E but couldnt find F63-64 on. Im trying to learn on my own and clearly not familiar with G's so any help would be appreciated. I have 2016 btw but most of your vids seem to apply to my car as well. Thanks for all the info and your vids.
@@soroushmazaherkermani1722 I just made a video about repairing the pump, will post it shortly. I'm not sure which fuse it is that supplies power to the pump, but you can easily test the connector with a test light
What is this battery used for?
The older pre-2013 w463 doesn’t have it.
Most if not all modern Mercedes have the auxiliary battery. It's used for various electronics
Do I need to do any programming after I switched the aux battery? If so what and how can I do it? Thanks!
No you don't need to do any programming
Thank you so much! I was thinking about doing it myself but the local mechanics told me that I had to reprogram it and that’s why I need to pay $$$$ them to get it done.
