What kind of school gives Macbooks to students? My school is using the cheapest possible laptops that can barely even run Microsoft word and are literally falling apart
Got to know the right people... i'm the one who got them for Nathan to use in this video.. i know the IT guy at a Private College here in South Australia, he called me to say they were throwing out a few laptops and would i want them?, on arrival i was shocked to see they were throwing out around 150 of them. Naturally i grabbed them, most worked the rest i sent to Nathan to do this video...Also the school wanted to bin 25 x 24" pc monitors, i grabbed those as well, all working perfectly and sent on to those who needed one. Check some of your local schools and ask if they have any they don't use anymore... doesn't hurt to ask.

boot camp, its pretty easy to do so , you just need free disk space
WoW! saying kgs instead of lbs, and writing on screen the pound too is such a nice gesture! Thank you! Subbed! :)

If you do a giveaway i would definitely love to have one for school use😊

3:00 We were on a vacation with my girlfriend last year, and the luggage (already cracked before) was completely obliterated after going through the airport. It was held together only by clean wrap we put over it - more a bag, than a case, at that point. Before going home I've used A LOT of adhesive tape - on the inside and outside of the bag. And it survived the trip back! Even stayed together in one piece. I worship packing tape as a deity now.
Psivewri you are so lucky to get free macbooks.
I want to repair computers in the future, like a hobbie.
The idea of making something work that didn't work is really cool to me.
Hi thank you for sharing.. I would like to know the tools you are using for cleaning the keyboard and screens brands to buy for my personal use? Any recommendations
Last time i was this early Psivewri had long hair
I’m just wondering what sort of punishment that kid got for throwing that MacBook Air and bending it
I know someone who would do that
My friend dropped a weight on his school computer and the whole glass screen is shattered. The LCD screen is fine though. By the end of the school year we will have to return our computers back to school. So I wonder what will happen when they see my friend’s computer 😂

the screen backlight has a fuse on the motherboard, if it's blown then it's a black screen even if the screen is working fine

You are so amazing in restoring devices.
Everyone’s talking about how many MacBooks he got but no one is talking about the windows 10 MacBooks I’ve never seen that before

Me: _Wait, that's illegal._
You can install windows on Mac with boot camp.
Nope, you can install whatever OS you want on your own hardware, DESPITE what Microsoft or Apple (and probably Google) want you to believe.
Now, a waste of a MacBook Air? Yes, that I'd agree with (and I'm a Linux engineer)
when you replace the ssd do you have to use the toshiba one it came with or can you use any m.2ssd

can i restore these mac books

Cool video! I like how was the macbooks filthy and you cleaned them up and they looked new, good job!
If we did this, our school would get our parents to buy them new laptops. So that's why all of our laptops look brand new
What kind of school gives Macbooks to students? My school is using the cheapest possible laptops that can barely even run Microsoft word and are literally falling apart
private schools duh

29 free MacBook Airs. Here I can't even afford a decent Windows laptop. 😭
@@dits791 okay. The downside is that I'm in India. They have bunch of Celeron pcs (2010 versions 😡) and that's all. I have already asked them multiple times to at least upgrade them to Core i3 but they don't really care that the students are not able to run the computers smoothly. Plus they always sell their old parts (in a rare case when they upgrade) to tech hoarders.
If I ever get a MacBook I’ll treat that like the ring from lord of the rings

I would love to get a laptop. I’m about to get out of the military and start school would love one 😭 I’ll even pay you pls
Just go on eBay, and look for education surplus lots, I've gotten Lenovo Thinkpad X140e's(AMD A4 ver.) for under $100 USD which make for good Linux machines. Just be patient. Also if you are in the US, and your area has a recycle drop off check the e-waste pile/bin if they don't care. as I find all kinds of good stuff like a 13in Macbook Pro Mid-2012 with the charger, and Amazon kindles just to name a few things.
