Major downforce upgrades for every f1 team across our 2024 grid. Ferrari bring huge upgrades to the rear of its car to hopefully propel them to the top of this grand prix. Aston does more upgrade testing while we see Racings bulls bring another major update. McLaren are also looking for a weekend where they can top red bull.

@@F1Unchainedcan we get a small video explaining why Aston Martin are always failing their upgrades. They brought 9 upgrades in imola but we didn’t see any improvements compared to the top 4 teams. It’s intriguing since last year it’s the same, they start with a good base bur then fall behind. Thank you love tour videos❤

@@alifakih8811One thing that I have noticed, is that Aston Martin has been using Mercedes' Wind tunnel, and neither One of Them seem to be able to produce upgrades that correlate accurately what happens in real life...... When Aston was super quick at the beginning of last year, Their wings were quickly clipped by the FIA for having a "flexi-wing" on the nose, and They have struggled ever since.
@@stephensegal5187no that's not it note tht the w11 was done on the the same windtunnel only the regs have changed since then it's jst tht teams like mercedes and Aston haven't yet figured it out as good as the other top teams

Aston is going to be plum last and will break our heart.
I think Mercedes wind tunnel is the reason Aston is slow or the reason why the upgrades work the other way.
Don't have high hopes this year. They fought with Merc for the first 6 races. Now they'll fight VCARB for 5th place. And after Hungary there biggest aim would be to not get lapped like Imola

Great video as always. Just a minor feedback - when comparing new vs old images, please highlight the changes to the parts in the video. Minor changes make it really hard to spot the difference between the two.

Whatever Aston brings nowadays, I just minus few places on the grid.

I figured it out. Astons upgrade is wet specific, bold I know but if qualifying is wet it doesn't matter about the dry race if Alonso is on pole.
If the midfield teams run close to each other in the race, we may see some drivers being told to back off a bit to get cooler air for brakes an engine. I have a feeling they gna be really close this year

Anyone from the top three teams could get pole and win the race but pole position will go to whichever driver from the top three takes the most risks. Max can be counted on to take a risk or two the same goes for Lando, whereas Leclerc has had bad luck here for the las few years so he might drive slightly more conservatively in quali, both Sainz and Piastry have nothing to loose and finally Checo drives well on street circuits but his performance cant be relied upon. The drivers will need to nail every quali lap as there could be an inconvenient red flag or two. Monaco might be a stylish and exclusive place but the race itself is a boring one.
