@@frevazz3364 Realistically it was probably a few ten-thousandths of a second and the timing rounded up to 0.001. The drafting tracks have more precise timing (hence why the overall record across all national series is 0.0004 second).

I truly believe Larson hitting Buescher twice is what gave him the win. Also that finish line looks crooked. I'm scratching my head.
Do like Larson? No. Do I care? Hell no. One of the all time greatest finishes in racing. So close that the scoring monitor thought Buescher won.

I didn't see anything dirty. Larson throught Buescher was going down, so he turned down to chase his side draft, but Buescher didn't go all the way and they made contact. That's how I saw it.

Im not sure of all the haters. Everyone who is a true Nascar fan should be happy for the sport. There has never ever been this close of competition in its history. Talk about the good old glory days or back in the day but we cannot turn back time. This is what we got.

Stage 1 and Stage 2 were amazing. Start of Stage 3 set up the rest of the Stage which was fuel mileage racing to the restart that set up the photo finish. 10.001/10

Not really the car, it's the track. Kansas has notoriously become the best 1.5 mile track because of all the options the drivers have to run different lines and get around the dirty air problem that ruins the racing most other weeks.

If you're only looking back to the previous years of the Gen 7, sure, it's improved a little bit this year but overall it's still not good. Dirty air is still too much of an issue and clean air is still too much of an advantage. This problem dates back to the inception of the CoT and putting splitters on the cars effectively making them far more sensitive to air.
They can overcome this by giving the cars more HP but for whatever reason, Nascar doesn't seem to want to do go in that direction.

4 wide finish should’ve been way better if Truex and Elliott had a huge run up to the lead with Larson and Buescher, but that was the greatest closest finish I’ve ever seen as the finish was closer than Atlanta this year! 2024 is one of the best year of history of all time for overall NASCAR series season!
